JET RIDERS NCR BICOL TOUR
25
April

This ride is organized by mototech aka mario who told us this will not be a political ride, and my group commited to join this ride, but as it happen it is political, sad to say….
but nevertheless Bicol ride is my dream so we conquered Bicol to and from Manila without any hassle and safety in our mind always…
Friday, March 30th
We assembled ay Mitsukoshi, e rodriguez at around 12mn. and arrived at rajah sulayman park at 12.30pm. 12 members commited but only 5 joined the ride, Rhoel(pres), Ferdie(vice pres), Marthon, Albert(sec) and Ivan….together with 6 cyclone riders with their backride, marlone a.k.a. melon with his gf on his shinning honda super four, adrian a.k.a sniper22 of SOS and last is mototech.
Im not that good in naming location, we’ve passed by but the very first i remember is Total gas station in Lucena City, at 4:50am, then we hit the road again and took our breakfast in gumaca, quezon overlooking lamon bay, took off again and braced more twisties in Bitukang manok……
We arrived in naga city at around 1pm still not had lunch yet…met with some 30 or so naga riders to take us to pioduran, 3pm lunch and mirienda of pancit canton and puto, then pioduran, people in vehicles for the motorcade already for us, as if we are not that tired, backs aching, whole body shaking, 14 hrs gruelling ride, still we manage to lead a motorcade for this mayoralty candidate for pioduran, dinner time around 8pm, food is great as other riders partake in the feastful dinner serve to us, but after dinner i talked to mototech about the motorcade that it is not part of the arrangement and he cannot comment on that….and the place to sleep he is still thinking about it….and the gas he promised, he is still thingking of it…..but somehow he manage to take us to a house of kagawad there who is very much accomodating till the next morning who served us lots of hot pandesal and coffee…
Saturday March 31
We woke up at 6am with breakfast of pandesal and strong “kapeng barako” we wash up and pack up our gears. they asked us for another motorcade but we decline. We proceeded to the place of our co-member Marthon in brgy cagmanaba, oas, albay, it took us 2hrs to traverse the road due to rough road and loose gravel and stone, going up and down the mountain road is a nightmare as if we were using offroad bikes or dirtbikes, but we dont have a choice we have to proceed. We reached cagmanaga around 10am, took some rest, and we go island hopping using the babntay dagat boat courtesy of marthon, clean clear seawater abound the coastline perfect for swimming and snorkling. Had our lunch in one of the island neaby, freshly cooked seafoods direct from the sea and that made our day in cagmanaba.
4pm we took for legaspi city, and the road leading out from cagmanaba is still really bad road, due to rough and loose gravel and stone…
We reached Legaspi city around 7pm had dinner in of the diners there, and slept in tourist in P550 a night for two but airconditioned, not bad after all days ride..never had a chance for a nightlife same in Pioduran due to tiredness…
Sunday April 1
We woke up 6am, took off for cagsawa around 7pm…..there we saw the devastation of typhoon reming, just like in pinatubo, lots of wrecked houses, everywhere after 2 kilometers there we saw cagsawa ruins still standing with the majestic mayon in the background, there we spent an hour for picture taking. Afterwards we decided to go to Mayon skyline resort…after 1 hour of twisties going to Mayon skyline via tabaco albay…there you can see the whole city of legaspi, what a sight that you to be there to appreciate evething that you can see….and down we go again and had lunch by 12nn..
More roads and twisties again as we go home….nightfall 7pm dinner at gumaca same place we had our breakfast last friday….we took different route and it made us much faster via pagsanjan, famy, mabitac, morong and antipolo and so on…and the best thing that helped us is our HID headlights that lights up the road we dont have difficulties riding in the night,we split up in katipunan petron around 12mn…UP is just so nearby im so eager and excited to go home..the other have to go to fairview, manila and bulacan….and it ends so well with no accidents whatsoever and we are very thankful for that…..
Censya na haba kwento wala pa nga masyado detalye, ko ako rin nahabaan eh heheheh…..thank you all sa lahat ng nakasama namin sa Bicol ride wahat a nice and unforgettable experience……

its a pleasure to visit your place sir, its a dream comes true for me to see mt mayon up close, and yes the road was cleared up to the cagsawa ruins as in digging up to clear the road, and still much to be done, and sad to say its really a sad sight seeing houses and establishment demolished by the typhoon…..
