Almost a year ago when I got the chance to have the Feb-Mar2006 Scooterista Magazine, I saw the “been there been that” column. An article entitled Round the World in A Day caught my attention, as I read the whole story I got more excited because they traveled from Antipolo all way up to Tagaytay all in 1 day, and I told to myself.. I’m going to that route soon…Honestly that was one of my dream ride.

Soon enough, last Thursday June 5, PGO club was set a Sunday ride,.. since the club wanted for a long ride. I suggested the Antipolo – Tagaytay Ride or I called it LOOP.

June 8, 2008 6:00 @ Shell Marcos Hway- Me & my back-ride Macel, Gerald Mamaril, Marc Chua & back-ride Denise arrived 6:15 & waited for some members. Abet next to arrived then Pres Jojo, Marlou Ulanday then Jerald Pablo & William. - 8 riders & 2 backrides ready to take the loop.

Around 7:10am, a short prayer led by Pres Jojo then started our long trip and of course our Scooterista Magazine as our guide to our journey

From Shell Marcos Highway we’re heading towards Teresa, Rizal. The riders’ adrenalin heats up as we approached the smooth & twisties of Morong, Pililia in Rizal up to Mabitac Laguna. Although, that’s a regular route of the club on a Sunday short ride, we’re still enjoyed the road showing off our bangking skills.

A 5-min stop over @ Petron Famy, we got something to drink to refreshed ourselves after a breathtaking skills..

Passing thru Pakil, Paete, Caliraya, another stop over at the entrance of Caliraya. Its only 8:54am, too early for lunch at the Caliraya Lake and we’re going to meet some members at Luisiana at around 10am-10:30. So, instead of going to a man-made lake, the club decided to continue the ride taking the Pagsanjan route going to Luisiana Laguna.. Bypass the Town of Luisiana, I got a phone call from Jong informing us that they were still at Paete Laguna. Since we’re already on our way to Lucban Quezon, we’ll just meet at the municipal town of Lucban.

We recorded a 55 minutes travel time from Caliraya Laguna to Lucban, Quezon.

Time check: 9:45am, still too early for lunch?? While waiting for Jong & co to arrived, the club decided to have the early lunch at Buddy’s Burger Station located right across the town plaza of Lucban .
