Destination: Angono (a Pre-Ride report)

Angono, Rizal is considered the “Art Capital of the Philippines.” It is not just home to some of our great artists (three of them already hailed National Artists), but it’s also where one could find the Petroglyphs – the oldest known work of art in the Philippines.

This Saturday, Vespa community here in Manila will ride to Angono to visit art galleries and museums; including a tour of the residence and studio of National Artist Botong Fransisco.

This unique cultural ride has been arranged and spearheaded by our fellow Vespa riders based there. True to form, the Angono riders have proven that it is indeed a place where artists are grown since they even came up with this unique poster design/artwork for the event:

    This is gonna be a great Old School Scooter meet(Vespa and Lambretta). Hopefully it is gonna be an annual thing.
