Slow Connectivity

Posted by yuga On January - 3 - 2007

We’ve been receiving feedbacks lately that sites are very slow and pages load for ages. Fear not as this is not an isolated case.

To those who have not been able to follow the recent week’s news, there was a huge earthquake in Taiwan the other week and it has affected most of the local Internet Service Providers.

Until today, connectivity on major ISPs are still suffering from the break-down, including Globe and PLDT. They informed customers that it may not come back to normal speeds for another week or two so hang in there folks.

I can’t access MCP from my house though I can access most other sites. I have PLDT DSL at home. Good thing Eastern Telecom is working well and MCP is running here in our office.

    Another few weeks of patience.

We couldn’t access International website hosting within two days last week but local web hosting/sites could be access.

Now accessing websites locally and international is back to normal…:)
