SEMINARS

The MRC is happy to launch it’s comprehensive riding seminars !
The seminars target different situations for all sorts of riders, listed below are wonderful packages to help a rider and his club learn more about motorcycling to become safe and responsible riders, which in turn makes riding more fun !

Each of the following programs address specific issues that affects riders and the motorcycle community and industry. Designed to make people aware of the responsibility of being safe on the road and how their attitude can help to make riding a lot more fun and enjoyable. Individual seminars all have accompaniment video, learning exercises and handouts. Seminars last anything from 30 minutes to 1 ½ hours, depending the on the participation of the group.

A COMMON ROAD (SHARING THE ROAD)
A lot of car drivers don’t like motorcyclists, the same goes for motorcyclists. This is not a safe environment for all, that is why this seminar targets roadway users on understanding each other’s problems so motorcycles and cars can safely coexist on Philippine roads. Learning facts about each other can create understanding to help save lives and prevent injuries & accidents. Common goals for common roads.

RIDING STRAIGHT
Alcohol and other drugs can affect you and how you ride. It is dangerous and you’ll find out how and why. The seminar includes the use of the FATAL VISION GOGGLES, which simulates the effects of alcohol on you as a rider or driver. Help yourself or a friend from making a bad situation worse by not riding impaired.

MSF GUIDE TO GROUP RIDING
The only thing better than hitting the open road, is sharing the experience with friends. Group Riding requires a different set of skills than solo travel. That’s why the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) developed the MSF Guide to Group Riding – A step by step, hot to organize and ride in the ultimate group adventure. You’ll learn to ride planning, preparation, formations, hand signals, how to deal with road hazards and a lot more.

SEASONED RIDER
Ageing may result in both positive and detrimental effects on personal judgment and performance, thereby affecting risk-taking and safety. This new program will acquaint participants with the general effects of ageing on the skills necessary to ride safely.

RIDING WITH CONTROL
Discusses the basics of how traction is divided up and used. Done through riding situations and pie charts that illustrate the different forces that affect traction in different riding situations. This seminar helps open doors to understand the dynamics that affect riding a motorcycle, learn this and you’ll be RIDING WITH CONTROL.

MOTORCYCLE INSPECTION AND CARE
Riding a motorcycle can be safe and enjoyable when you learn proper maintenance practices. A effective seminar for old and new riders who would like to understand their motorcycle better and prevent those inconvenient and embarrassing breakdowns in the middle of no where.
