Top motocross riders gear up for an exciting climax as the highly successful NAMSSA National Motocross Series stages its championship finals of the Round 8 on December 9, Sunday at the Fast Track Circuit in Taguig City. This event is in conjunction with the City of Taguig Cityhood celebration for this weekend. Multi-titled motocross riders across the country are gearing up for this event organized by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA) National Series, promoted by Xtreme Worx and hosted at the Fast Track Circuit Taguig.

However, Glenn Aguilar sees a tight duel for the Pro Open plum where he holds a precarious 20-point advantage over Kenneth San Andres – his former teammate who’s proving to be a worthy title rival.Aguilar tallied 335 points up against San Andres who totaled 315 after splitting honors in the last leg. Mitra, on the other hand, aims to bring home the Junior 65 title over Joey Aycardo, TJ Alberto, Raf-Raf Enriquez, Jacob Orbe, Mark Reggie Flores and McLean Aguilar. McLean Aguilar, hoping to follow his father’s footsteps, seeks another big triumph to clinch the Peewee 50 cc plum over TJ Alberto and Mark Reggie Flores.

Registration shall be on saturday before race day and close on Sunday at 9am. The races will start at 9 a.m. while the final awarding ceremonies and Christmas Party will be at 6 p.m. together with the annual year end awards night of NAMSSA featuring the Superbike Rider of the Year Maico Buncio - YRS Yamaha Racing, Underbone 150 of the Year John Lerry Enriquez - Suzuki Racing , Underbone 125 of the Year Maico Buncio - YRS Yamaha Racing and the 115cc Underbone of the Year for Dashi Watanabe - Kawasaki Racing.

Among the other title favorites are Racewurx rider Veli-Gin Ramos in the Beginner Open Production, Ryan Magalona in the Open Local Enduro and the Novice Local Enduro, Jun Jun San Andres in the Veterans class, Hermis Bantoc in the Executive class, Jason Sarmiento in the Underbone class and Tasser John Camias in the Pantra division.
