Once again a first time event turned out to be a great success. The Bikers Brotherhood Motorcyle Club were a recently formed club, and their partners in organizing the event, Expoplus were unknown to most bikers. I believe many people were pleasantly surprised to see so many booths and so much activity.

The event started on the Saturday with a small conference where yours truly was asked to make the keynote speech and then went on to answer questions about Motorcycle Philippines, The Motorcycle Philippines Federation, riders rights etc. King Dayrit followed with a talk on “bullet proofing” your bike or in other words making it safe and reliable.

The exhibition ran for two days. After the conference on the first day I went down to explore the exhibits but it was so crowded I couldn’t get good photos. I hadn’t got half way around when I decided to give up and go back on the Sunday. On Sunday it was just as crowded but it was fun meeting so many members of Motorcycle Philippines and having my picture taken with lots of clubs and lovely ladies. Hey its tradition and official policy to have my picture taken with the ladies! Well thats my excuse anyway.

By the time I got around all the exhibits and stopped to say hello to members it was time for the Biker Babe competition. Another nice surprise - the ladies were all very attractive and I was lucky enough to be right at the front with the judges so I could get pictures easily. The Biker Babe show was of course very popular with the audience and a nice finish to a successful event. I am looking forward to the next one.

Sorry my ugly mug is in so many of the pictures. My nephew took most of them while I met with members and exhibitors. - Frank Woolf
