In reaction to the article on the ban of motorcycles on the luzon expressways. Would it be good to specify or to clarify if scooters are considered as motorcycles. A friend of mine was apprehended by patrols on the nslex. He was riding a 600cc scooter. Still the officer said that he was on a scooter, not a motorcycle. So, now that there may be a possibility that motorcyles below the 400cc range would be able to ride the expressways, will a Sym Loyride or a Sym Shark be able to do so? What is a scooter? Is it a motorcycle? Is it a motorbike? Or is it a sorry excuse for a motorcycle as insinuated ba the highway patrol? Although, i would rather not drive a scooter on the expressway if it’s below 400cc. I guess this reaction is for the bigger scoots.
