Congratulations to the new instructors! More than anything else, the lack of riding knowledge and skills have contributed most to motorcyle accidents. Still a lot of people believe that to ride a motorcycle, one only needs to know how to balance on two wheels. With more instructors, the proper riding techniques and, more importantly, attitude, can be propagated. I do hope that the Basic Riding Course can be made available to us here in the Visayas (Iloilo City) and the rest of the Southern Philippines.

congratulations guys! Hope you could educate as many would-be riders as possible in order to minimize accidents due to poor/improper riding technique/attitude. Speaking of education, I know that Honda offers one in their Riding Academy. Just to ask though if it there’s a possibility of conducting such in the field? Here in our company, the increase in the motorcycle-riding population (mostly of whom are Honda brand owners) has increased over the last few months mainly because of the “affordable” financing scheme being offered by the different motorcycle dealers, and with this is also an increase in motorcycle-related accident. In coordination with our Safety & Health Dept., we would like these individuals (newbies and experienced alike) to undergo a basic/advance riding techniques training course. But since we are on the manufacturing industry, time constraint is a factor, hence would appreciate if we could do this (training) in-house. Should this be feasible, I could be contacted @ dalupanf@optodev.essilor.com.ph to discuss this matter thoroughly. Thank you and Congratulations once again.
