MCPF
At Luneta, Metro Manila on July 24, 2005, The riders of the Motorcycle Philippines Federation and Philippine Scooter Federation once again showed their williningness to help out by voluteering to act as marshals during the 3rd Manila Marathon where an attempt on the world record was being made with participants numbering to at least 50,000. The MCPF only called for 100 riders but at registration time the volunteer riders already doubled the needed number.

Call time was at 2:30 a.m. for the riders to marshall the very large number of people entering the marathon that was intended to break the current record in Guinness Book of World Records. By 2:30am, team Captain Jess Go had already registered the names of the marshall riders and distributed shirts way ahead of the 4 a.m. start of the 42k marathon that coveres the Manila area.

Riders were assigned to in different tasks for this historic event as they escorted the runners, handled traffic control, and used their motorcycles to transport marathon staff through the sea of people. Indeed it was truly fun for the rider marshalls who saw runners from different walks of life that joined the marathon.
