Much has been said about Makati Police Chief Gilbert Cruz’ You Tube Video Series about Criminal Modus Operandi. I salute this forward thinking officer for using the internet as a platform for this kind of information.
One of the more interesting videos there is about fake plates, stickers and papers. This can definitely help us or at least guide us when we deal with our transactions regarding our bikes and/or cars.

mukhang di ata accurate yun guide ng TMG regarding sa CR particularly yun sinasabi nilang dapat orange at embose yun CR number, sa mga sasakyan ko tanging yun 2003 rav4 ko ang ganito, yun 2002 nissan urvan orange pero di embose at manipis ang sulat, 1996 honda civic pink at di embose, 1993 fzr600 maroon at di embose… LAHAT ng sasakyan ko ay personal kong vinerify sa LTO/camp karingal at ilan ay naka loan pa sa malalaking bangko (iloloan ba ng banko yun kung di legit papaers?) bago ko nabili… i really feel dissapponted ng mapanood ko itong video kasi misleading, kung ibebenta ko yun mga sasakyan ko at ang bibili ay napanood din yun video siguradong magkakaproblema kami? i believe mali yun batayan and i believe LTO diliman/east ave lang ang nagiissue ng orange/embose CR number.
pls enlighten me if im wrong

Hmm this is a good guideline for checking papers pero for sure not all of the markings are the same especially sa mga ibang lugar naka issue. Para sure parin kailangan pa verify yung records ng unit. Now let see to those who sell their papers OR/CR then tatamper sa unit ang engine and chassis no. hehehehe. Makalusot kaya?

i cant cosider this a “good” guideline if its inaccurate and misleading sana before they came out with this video eh check muna nila facts nila… matagal ng di syncho ang action ng LTO at TMG

The video is not completely accurate. I just bought a brand new car and the numbers on the CR are red and not orange. You can feel them and see them very clearly from the reverse side. Also, the phrase “owners copy” is not very clear. It’s hard to believe that a major car dealer will give you fake documents. This goes as well for a brand new Gilera Nexus scooter which I bought from a dealer who has complete tax docs and importation clearances. Whats the real deal?

I dont get it? When you get pulled over to be checked, well…. I NEVER bring the Original OR/CR of my vehicle. So….. How do they authenticate my vehicles papers? Di ibig sabihin, hatak muna ako sa yarda nila. And you know how that goes, EVEN if you show them proof that your documents are authentic, SINCE na hatak kana sa yarda nila, kailangan mo magbigay parin pang “for the boys” kasi na-agrabyado MO na sila eh….

boo! walng kwenta tong guideline na to, verify na lang sa LTO kung bibili ng sasakyan, ndi magandang basehan to. ayusin nyo naman!

dapat maging very strict sila sa registration process,like sa qatar bago ka maka register mag papa test ka muna sa isang department at overall checking yon,dapat malinis lahat,completo ilaw,wlang bangga,maayos ang gulong look like new at kung kailang pa repair muna,tpos sabay test din ng smoke belching,tpos dapat computerized na,what i mean is may citizen id na tayo lahat at same number sa id natin yong number sa registration pati ang license number,medical card number,passport number,vehicle violation,kriminal case,lahat-lahat ng record para lahat isang check lang sa website ng pilipinas(kung magkakaroon) malalaman na kung fake or hindi ang isang kotse or motor(kailan kaya aasenso ang pilipinas kahit man lang sa mga documento ng citizenship natin wla eh,kc dyan mo malalaman kung tama ang bilang ng botante at walang flying voters,ay naku,massabing magagaling ang pinoy pero dpat nag uumpisa sa bansa natin yan,at yan ang magiging katibayan natin bilang tunay na magaling na pilipino)three stars and the sun_francis m…
