Just want to congratulate everyone.

DAY 2

It was the morning of Good Friday. One by one the riders woke up. The whole 8 hours of sleep did not feel like it was enough. Our bodies where yearning for more snoring time, but we had no choice as our target for that day is Baguio. an estimated 700kms away. A breakfast of different varieties of sinangag and itlog, after a quick shower, and then it was saddle time once again. The group made a stopover at Lal-Lo suspension bridge for some photo ops, then after, the group decided to proceed to the nearest Caltex gas station to fill up and rest while waiting for a group that was escorting/assisting a bike that suffered a breakdown. the Caltex staffs were so nice that they even let us stay inside the shop where we had our snack of bread and tuna courtesy of CJ. after an hour or so, we were joined by the second group and off we go conquering the northern most part of Luzon. We had our lunch in "BingBongs" eatery at Pagudpud where a fellow rider al, on a superfour met us and accompanied us to Bangui where the exact crash site of MGee happened. Fatigue started to come in during the second day so we had to make unscheduled stops.

We arrived at Bangui Mills at around 5pm. We went closer to the gigantic windmills and took pictures. This is the only place in Asia where there are working windmills these big. We were not going to let this pass and not preserve the moment in pictures. 500 meters from the mills was where MGee had an accident. We stopped there to light candles and offer prayers for our fallen friend. Having fulfilled the first purpose of our ride, off we went to fulfill the other – finish the loop.

We arrived Laog at around 7pm then Vigan Plaza around 8:30pm. Each decided to eat where they fancy in order to save time. After dinner, some of the riders don’t have the strength to travel from Vigan to Baguio so there were some riders who decided to spend the night in Vigan and the rest of the group continued their journey to Baguio because a reservation was already made for that night.

First batch of the group arrived in Baguio at 3:00am Black Saturday. The Baguio Scooter Riders Club (BSRC) wolver and bryan cabrero welcomed the group and proceeded to "Pine Breeze" hotel to spend the night. errrr... the rest of the night. there we were welcomed by Donald and Paul aka Belecoy with his delicious HotPot and inihaw na bangus. after eating, we rest then chat over a bottle of tres cepas and a box of big juicy red strawberries as pulutan. talk about Hospitality with a capital "H". it was almost 5 am when we decided to call it a day....

(highlight stops on 2nd day – hanging bridge, picture taking w/ the police – lunch of bread and tuna sandwich in a gas station just after the bridge while waiting for the others – meeting some bikers along the way –mention father and son guest riders as well as father and daughter rider; also brothers-in-law ride buddies: rico and Larry – breathtaking view at patapat bridge in Pagudpud – Bangui windmills – prayers for MGee – vigan night stop for dinner and some to rest while others proceeded to baguio)

DAY 3

Second batch of the group left Vigan at 7:00am re Black Saturday and arrived at 2:00pm in Baguio. Due to tire problems, a fellow rider had a flat tire and the reason why we arrived late in baguio.

Since the original plan for this trip was 3 days and 2 nights, the group decided to extend their stay in Baguio. There were some members who needed to be back home by Saturday. These riders rested for a while and then continued their journey back to Manila. The big biker groups touched down early Saturday evening, followed by two scooter riders at 10pm, then it was SRC’s solor rider underboy at 7am Sunday.

For the rest of the gang, we had a great time in Baguio because our brothers from BSRC took care of our needs and assisted us in going to different spots. had dinner at Marosan's in Trinidad valley. dinner was paid for by SRC's BDay celebrants Chrisjo and kompressor. tnx buddies.

DAY 4

woke up around 6:30am, settled our bills, geared up then filled our tanks with gas at Petron gas station near Burnham park. ate breakfast at Andok's, a short prayer before gearing up, then at around 7:30am... SRC is homeward bound. we took Marcos Hiway going down and decided to take the longer route to avoid traffic at Mcarthur hiway. bad decision on our side because it took us around 180kms from Baguio to Hacienda Luisita in Tarlac. except for the 3 riders who accidentally got lost, the main group arrived at the meet up point 2 hours after they got there (talk about luck for these 3 riders. ). after some refreshments and a short rest, we decided to proceed to Rumpa Angeles for our very late 5pm lunch. after taking our late lunch, we hit the road and reached Valenzuela at around 7pm. from there, we bade each others good-bye.....

once again, we would like to thank Mr. Mike Tan a.k.a. Easycruise of Aritao, Al-the s4 rider who met us at BingBong's and accompanied us to the Bangui Windmills and the crash site. and of course, our SRC Honorary brader wolver, belecoy and the rest of the BSRC for their continous support for the group. MCP and friends. thank you.

This ride is dedicated to the loving memory of our fellow rider Mike Gesmundo (Mgee)
