Newbie Guide to Trail Riding... INTO THE EDGE OF THE INFERNO!!!

Hello Folks,

Here now is a quick how-to/what-not-to-do/death-wish/bad-influence/oh-no-WTF! guide or ride report on one of the most dreaded trail sites near Manila... The trail at TIGUKAN (este, Tinukan @ San Ysiro pala...ahihihi!)

The Usual Suspects:
Pax, Andy, Oca, Bon, Wildman, Peter

The not-so-usual suspects (saling-pusa ulit!):
Empoy, Obijuan

Note:
Kids, don't try to do this at home! (or at least be sure to have an expert "Extreme/Wild" riders along when you attempt this feat...!)

The Scenario:
Imagine this--you are more than 500+ meters above sea level on a mountain (yes, Mr. Winer, it's yours!)....

The Dilemna:
....the trail paths are mostly near vertical slopes and usually on the edge side and the best part is---it's all under bush fire!!!

The Strategy:
...take the deepest breath that you can inhale, close your eyes, pray all that you can, hope to God that salvation will come...soon!!

The Outcome:
...Well, through P3 (patience, perseverance and prayer), we somehow miraculously managed to...


...drop our bikes, roll over the cliffs, and with divine intervention survived!!

More Outcome:
...What goes up, must come down...

...And the Moral Lesson is:

...LIFE, as we know it, is very short; so RIDE hard, PLAY harder and PRAY the hardest!!

Huwaw!! FaFa Obi lufet mo talaga. yan pala yung dreaded Tigukan este Tinucan pala. Hi!Hi!Hi! next time samahan mo na ko ha! kaw na guide. lufet mo na eh. para di nakakahiya ke ser Pax. tamang tama. lapit na summer. sana alang apoy. di kasi ako mahilig sa apoy. pero magaling akong mag-laro ng apoy.

parang ayaw ko na balikan yang Tigukan na yan...nagkaroon ako ng psychological trauma pagkatapos namin tawirin ni principal pax yan last year.cgro acrophobia lng ako..ayaw ko na umabsent ng 3days..waaahh...lufet nyo talaga mga fafa..cgro nadaanan nyo ung kelangan i-higa ang bike pra pumreno..footpeg tska handle bar ang pampreno achuchuchu!.....ang saya pero nakakabaliliwww...

WOW!!! hanep kakaingit, napuntahan nyo nanaman pala ang very famous "bundok ni WINER" to tell you frankly inggit talaga ako, medyo nagpapahinog pako.

i plan of conquering my mountain again this coming April, exactly one year!! and this time i'll make sure that i will not end up at the hospital again, hahahaha

hope to ride with you guys soon, sabi ko nga! OBIJUAN talagang mahiwaga ka never pa tayong nag-meet pero magkakilala tayo dito sa forum, nasubaybay yan kita eversince na KMX pa yata motor mo noon, hangang naging zero, up to now na pwede kanang sambahin sa galing hehehe......kaya pagnagkita tayo, sagot mo drinks hahahaha.....

It's nice to see you online again after what happened to your beloved republic....!!

Sige, when you have the opportunity let's go and play in the DIRT!! But I think climbing and trail riding up in Mt. Mayon would be totally fantastic...!!

Ikaw ang tunay na Malufet Fafa.... Palagi ka kasi absent sa klase kaya demerit ka na ni Principal Pax... ahihihi!!
