Marilaque night ride...
sounds crazy but parang ang sarap gawin nito...would you guys recommend it? anyone wants to tag along?....samahan niyo naman ako..weeknights or weekends ok lang saken...

hehehe....mukhang sarap nga at thrilling nito,sir.......tagal nyo na rin plano at gusto ito........but di kaya kayo magkaproblema especially dun sa part na may Army detachment & checkpoint????

done that... ok lang...

there are areas with absolutely no lights... easiest way to do the corners is to ride the cateyes. basically you stay just inside the cateye line. when you feel one, you're drifting out and need to tighten your line... don't worry about using the next lane... you'll see the headlights of an oncoming vehicle long before you need to go back to yours. on the areas with no cateyes, use the lowbeam-semiovershoot-highbeam-turnhard
way.... it's freaky at first but you'll get the hang of it...

Marilaque nigth ride! Some of AK's done that. Meron pa nga 12 in the midnight by Top Rider. Ingat lang sa curves ang most of all yun papara sayo... Suggest ko go to marilaque late in the afternoon and stay muna sa sierra madre hanggang dumilim... and 7pm take-off na pababa...

I ride slow so di ako masyado worried about overshooting and all that...im more concerned about safety...thats why as much as possible i would want to ride with at least one or two more bikes

@berong

mukang maganda nga yung magpagabi...pero parang mas masarap ang hangin ng around 10-11pm ....the owner of sierra madre told me that they have a higher altitude than tagaytay...so i kind of expect a chilly and thrilling ride to marilaque

Anyone willing to tag along?...please?...lolz

you don't get what i meant... YOU SHOULD DO A NEAR OVERSHOOT BEFORE TURNING SO THAT YOU CAN AIM YOUR HIGHBEAM RIGHT WHERE THE CORNER EXIT IS. (sorry for the caps... had to emphasize that)... that's the only way to ride it anywhere near daytime speeds... and it's safer to do the near overshoot thing than going into the corner blind...

i can go with you on the condition that i set the pace... everyone knows i'm too slow baka maiwan mo ako

with nothing to do, i once went there at 1 am... no one at the checkpoint... a few crazy dogs and a goat (if i remember right) in the middle of the road though.

Malamig nga dun espicially at night.. kaya yun mga rooms sa sierra madre walang aircon. Just post the date kung kelan baka pwede ako w/ some of the AK's...

thanks for clarifying that...now i understand...your right..its definitely safer that way...i think a sportbike that has a fix headlamp mounted on its fairing would certainly benefit using this technique...but i will keep it in mind...thanks for the advice...
