The Birth of Cavite Moto Club (CMC)

On May 13th of 2005, one man had the fortitude to post under meetings and events with a topic title "Underbone riders in Cavite". This man is from Imus and his MCP name is "Terong", his real name Roy Ramos, an IT Admin at Rosario EPZA. A day after, a certain Hilikus from Dasma, replied his post followed by no other than our "Big Guy" as in literally big guy and also our current President Sir Bugoi, from Molino and said "present bro, molino lang ako. tagaytay quickie ride anyone?".

Sir Ncard also of Molino followed, then comes the Shining_Gundam from Kawit with his hands shining and roaring!

I remember one guy from Gen. Trias, who is posting some wacky replies to Sir Terong, but he didn't mind (don’t know if they are known to each other).

And finally on May 16th, 13uLL$3ye(o) of Dasma, (that's me guys!) pop up. Meeting was initially agreed upon on May 22, 2005 (Sunday) at 7-11 Imus infront of PLDT. But alas I didn't make it, only three members showed up, Sir Terong, Sir Newbie and Sir Shining_Gundam.

Another meeting was scheduled and it was on June 19th when I personally met Sir Terong. Also present at the tambayan in Petron Imus were Sir Ncard and Sir Newbie. But I missed the presence of Sir Lyndon when he showed up later.

All who have posted in the forums and met up at the Petron was hoping that someday this group will eventually grow big and strong.

We decided to take a quickie ride to Tagaytay on June 26 together with the Bulacan Moto Club. At 5:30am on the day of the ride, me and my wife were already at Alabang Westgate first. I was still nervous then because it is my first group ride. Then came Sir Trip along with his official backride Kris. Next to arrive was Sir Lyndon with backride Jovie and at last, I got to meet personally our Pres. Sir Bugoi with backride jv_ayie. The ride was safe, fun and exhausting because of the hiking all the way up to the crater of taal volcano.

Sir Bugoi is again enticing us to join the July 10 PSRC Ride to Real, Quezon. And yes it was indeed tempting. The twisties was exciting, challenging and fun. And this time I met Sir Hotruss, Sir Kei2, and the infamous Sir Shining_Gundam. These were the so-called REAL boys: hotruss, kei2, shining, trip, sir Bugoi and me. And I noticed, everytime CMC had a ride, slowly we were growing in numbers.

And on the evening of July 23, 2005, at the Official General Meeting in Petron Imus Tambayan, it was unanimously agreed upon that a new cavite riders group will be officially formed and to be named as "Cavite Moto Club". It was also decided that an Official Ride be at Calatagan, Batangas on July 30, 2005.

In this official ride, I get acquainted with BRC Emil (our official spearhead), cyber_snake, Zurich (present in pre-briefing though he wasn’t on the ride) and the rest of the LP boys (Ryan,Jeff&Larry). It was a picture perfect ride just like the wallpaper group photo of sir Trip. It was in this ride that camaraderie among the members came out, that no one is being left behind especially in a not so good situation and when you are riding with this group, you can feel that you belong. And still in this ride brought up the need to gear up our selves for our own safety.

Our August Second Official ride was decided to be in the cold waters of Majayjay, Laguna last August 21 with a sidetrip (twisties) and merienda (bread con canton) in Caliraya. Patience and open-mindedness was the factor in this ride. Patience in the sense that, we have to wait for our members to get back on our pack before proceeding to our next destination. Open-mindedness when some misunderstanding arises. New members were added, namely DaddyG, Raffy, and Wilson. Also JesterXRM (though not yet official).

We are hopeful that CMC shall rise slowly but surely and with the kind of members we have, we can say that “It’s the rider and not the ride” that matters most.

Bullseye, a very nice piece indeed to inaugurate our very own CMC forum. Congratulations to all CMC riders!! This is another milestone ( August 25, 2005) in CMC history. Mukhang na-immortalize din si Terong intro ha.

Thanks to Sir Frank for allowing us to have our own forum. . . likewise to our Prez Bugoi for initiating the move. . .and obcourse last but not the least - sa lahat ng mga CMC riders,backriders & posters for sharing your thoughts, ideas, questions & answers which kept the CMC threads alive.

Hotruss, we are confident that you will moderate our forum , much the same way that we are confident in your marshalling our rides. Congratulations likewise.

Slowly and surely the group is growing. Probably this coming saturday, gosh that's tomorrow already, I'll be bringing someone for the meeting. Great true to life story of the group. Hopefully sa next official ride, makasama na ako para maging official member na rin po ako. More power to CMC!
