to be sure... i think you have to consult painters talaga.... MEDY FRAME PAINTERS... sikat sa pag paint n design ng bicycle frame (during my amateur cycling time). there were also threads regarding helmet painting artist... i dunno if they were located in megamall.. but advice ko is visit them and chat with em baka may makuha kang info

Dude prepare the surface of the helmet prior to painting. This will prevent the paint to flake off from the helmet. The secret in attaining a good repainting job is in the preparation. Sand the surface using 800 wet/dry sandpaper then apply primer. Sand the primer using 1000 wet/dry sandpaper prior to spraying the paint. You can use paint in a can. remember to seal it with a clearcoat so that the finish will be glossy and protected.
Good luck.

Lightbulb thanks

thanks jeff_o and spdfgtr.

i'll do that. Thinking of making a magneto design for my open face helmet and a camouflage design on my half-helmet.

thanks again.

im thinking of painting my blue HJC to black. is it ok to use heat resistant paint in cans or should i go for pylox? also, do primers and clear coat come in spray form or yung kailangan ng paint brush? can i just cut to the chase and just sand and apply the paint? finally, does painting helmets affect the protection factor of the lid?

thanks

I was just wondering, where can I have my helmet "chromed"? Has anyone actually chromed a helmet before? Does anyone have the facilities to do that here in the country? I'm trying to save up on cash by doing that (if its possible) rather than getting a new one way out in the US. All manner of help appreciated.

Regards,
Mike D.
