Hope this helps.

Ride Safe.
Sir Stepanex/Others,

Can you please assist me further by providing the mcp threads where the two bikes are compared. Have tried the YBR for a short distance but i felt the acceleration response was lacking. Have not tried the thunder yet. Maybe and hopefully other YBR and Thunder owners can provide their inputs.
Thanks again.

I have previously owned a YBR125 but now own a Thunder. It's not that ayaw ko na sa YBR. Ng crash landing kasi ako at yung sira nya is more than what it will cost me to buy another brand new motorcycle of the *same* caliber. And here are my observations:

Not so much sa Thunder under the same conditions.

3. Comfort: Hands down YBR! upright and relaxed riding position. Sa Thunder, medyo dapa pero di rin naman to the point na uncomfortable na sya sa long rides like in sportsbike.

5. Engine response: 1 click starting ang Thunder electric man o kickstart, kahit mula cold start. THis is true. I have had trouble starting the YBR especially from cold kahit nung bago pa ito. kelangan talaga gamitin mo ang choke. sa Thunder, I never used the choke.

6. Fuel economy: Parehong matipid, 45-50kms/liter depende sa driving condition.

This is from my own experience on both bikes. Needless to say, both have their strengths and weaknesses. Kung me pera lang ako, bibilhin ko ang dalawa, YBR for touring na me kasamang off-road, at Thunder naman sa tours na puro paved roads. Pwede rin ang dalawa for daily commute.

Sa mga namimili. Hope this helps.

congrats sir. pano na XRM mo?

YBR = DUAL SPORT/enduro
STX = super gas saver (YBR w/o mags and discbreak)

Thunder = SPORTY NAKED,
