sir, sali ka dito sa thread http://www.motorcyclephilippines.com...059#post815059
Hello, fellow riders!
I am a newbie from Abra, somewhere in Northern Luzon and I just bought my TMX 155 a week ago. I intend to use this bike as standalone, that is, without a side car. What sort of modifications can you suggest for my bike? Can you give me some tips on the proper break-in of this kind of motorcycle?
I have included pics of my bike for you to see......
Lastly, my bike seems to be having a hard time running at its gear specific speed (i.e 1st gear 0-30 kms, 2nd gear 30-60 kms, 3rd gear 60-90 kms etc.) Because for 1st gear I can only reach 10 and for 2nd gear only 30? Why is it like that? Does it have anything to do with changing the front and rear sprockets?

Hello po sir Rebel_Biker, just want to ask if the oil deposits here on my TMX155 is 'normal' po ba na nangyayari?
http://picasaweb.google.com/johnny2g...88739339354706
My motorcycle is a TMX155. No engine modifications. Nagchange lang ako ng gear sprockets: 16T front, 38T rear, and I'm using Dunlop lowprofile tires 80/80-17 front and rear. Oil that I am using now is CASTROL ACTIV PREMIUM 20W-50 4T. I removed it before, but after using my motorcycle, may deposit ng oil ulit. Do I need to bring in my motorcycle to the shop for some repairs or adjustment/s?
I suggest you have a qualified Honda mechanic to have a look at your carburetor. Just to be sure. Just my two cents worth.

Ah ok. Thanks po sir. Right away![]()
sir, ano ang pinag kaiba ng TMX 155 sa contact point at CDI in terms of speed, RPM and Power?
Puwede po ba i convert yung contact point sa CDI? is it practical?

Manong,
san po kayo sa abra?province ng father ko abra.malapit sa garretta.congrats sa new ride mo,ganda nyan tmx155 mo.my best friend type din ang ganyan na bike.ang nakikita kong magandang porma nyan is yung headlight change it to circle type na malaki yung pang bigbike then yung rims change it to 2.150x17 alloy sa front then 3.50x17 alloy sa rear then low profile tires,(suggestion lng yan)ala pa kc akong nakikitang ganyang porma na naka wide rims.i have my 2.15x17 gold alloy rim for my rear tire kaso di ko pa kinabit kc naghahanap pa ako ng tire para maganda fitting.bili ka ng dvd ng hellride.makikita mo bigbike dun na pede iapply sa tmx155 mo.
Sir...if your thinking of modifying your TMX to a chopper type or cruiser type, you could try changing the following:
1. Rear Wheel:
So bringing down the rear or Raising the Front would be your choice without changing the forks. Still, I prefer Lowering the Rear.... Change the 17" rim to something like 16"x2.5 or 15"x2.5.
With 2.5 rim width may option ka to use a 110mm or 120mm or 130mm width na Tire. BUT TAKE NOTE KUNG DI NA SASABIT SA STOCK SWINGARM MO...
2. Rear Shocks:
Another idea would be to lower the current shocks by using the underbone shocks...you could try the 290mm or the 300mm (bolt hole to bolt hole length)
3. Front Headlights:
Change to 7" dia. Round Headlights
4. Optional: Lower the Carrier rack sa likod
5. Optional: Install "Sissy bar" or "Passenger Backrest bracket"
6. Optional: Convert the front drum to Disc brake
good day. im newbie from oc, im using honda tmx 155, ask ko lng po ano ang pinakamagandang sprocket combi sa tmx when it comes to top speed??? by the way im using 13/44 sprocket combi... thanks in advance//![]()

Anyway, if your question is sitll standing... here's my reply:
CARRIER RACK
Stock carrier rack
Now by saying..."Lowering the Carrier rack", i mean this:
ang ginawa ko sa stock carrier ay binaligtad ko lang at pinatabas
ko sa welding shop then did some welding.
passenger backrest.
UNDERBONE SHOCKS
Yung Underbone shocks that I was referring to was about the EIKO
SHOCKS I bought intended normally para dun sa mga underbone but
by the looks of it magkasingbilog lang ito sa stock na shocks except
for the length dahil 290mm ang bolthole length nito compared sa stock na 310mm ang bolthole length nito.
BACKREST
From time to time, I switch types of backrests depending on my needs...pag kailangan ng malaking space sa kargahan I use the backrest from "Sinski cruiser"...most of the time I use the backrest
from my old "Hyosung cruiser"... may madami ka pang sources for the backrests.....lalo na yung mga nagmodify ng mga cruisers nila
na ayaw mag backrest, you have those from a "Kawasaki Eliminator175", "MotorstarPredator150", "LifanCyclone150"... plus many more...maghanap ka lang.
