I'm Just lookin for fellow honda tmx enthusiasts...I've recently resurrected a honda tmx 155 (contact point) to it's glory with a few enhancements and I've been trying to surf the net for articles and pics.Sadly there are only a handfull of us. Sana in the near future eh mas dumami naman tayo...Post ko soon yung mga pics ng bike ko...God Bless.

PS. If you know any mods or accesories para sa tmx eh try to write naman...ty

try mo ung 16:36 or 13-14:34-36. make sure na maayos din yung kundisyon ng carb mo.para hndi mahirapan. here are thing you could do to make your bike faster:Port your intake and if posible your exhaust,Custom make your own pipe tuned to your engine (don't make sound your priority),sprocket change,Change or condition your carb,Choose the best gasoline for your bike (Pwede ka mag ocatane booster). Just remember to pay attention to details kasi no one particular mod will make your ride faster.Collective talga yan.

ang Balita ko, ang the best STOCK-Drag Sprocket for TMX 155 is 13:38... Pero sumasayad yung kadena pag nalulubak. if you convert it to 15 ang front sprocket, ang rear sprocket ay dapat 43.8. Ang madalas available sa market na rear sprocket is 44 at 42. mas malapit sa 43.8 ang 44. kaya lang low speed. ang 42 mas high speed sa 43.8

Sa stock na TMX 155 Cdi, yung 15:44 nag totopspeed ng 117 kph, mabilis makuha yung topspeed pero na uubos yung binibigay ng Cdi

pero sa high speed sprocket na 15:42 hanggang 110 kph lang. mediyo mabagal makuha. Nabibigatan na makina.

may 43 na Sprocket, yung JT na brand. Racing sprocket ng TMX daw yun kaya mediyo mahirap daw humanap. hindi ko pa na try topspeed non.

But take note: lahat ng sinasabi ko regarding sa sprocket ng TMX155 ay para sa ALL STOCK lang, at sprocket change lang ang modification.

Kung gusto mong talagang bumilis at Lumakas TMX, concider the ff:
1. Big Bore to 185cc or 205cc
2. Use racing muffler/air cleaner
3. Unlimited CDi (racing cdi)
4. Big carburator
5. Big Valve
6. Port and Polish

I appreciate your little lecture on TMX 155 gear combination. Actually nag tanong tanong na rin ako pero walang gaanong may alam karamihan kasi naka underbone din dito sa Pampanga.
But 1 thing I notice halos pang drag sprocket combination ang nabangit mo. How about yung may arangkada na may rekta pa?
I also have a stock TMX 155 with sprocket 14:42 saka naka muffler lang top speed ko is 117 kph. Any other suggestion of gear combination to reach a 120+ top speed? Anong performance ng 14:38 or 15:38 sprocket combination? Saka anong specs nung racing CDI for TMX?

Tanong ko lang kung nag ta-taekwondo ka? kasi kix ang official taekwondo equiptments namin. im a Taekwondo instructor from bulacan.

Regarding your 14:42 sprocket... I think that is a low speed sprocket. Kung compute mo kasi yan sa 15 ang harap, bale 15:45 yan. Try to get 15:43 para may hatak at recta din. but kung gusto mong 14 ang harap. try 14:40 para the same sa 15:42.86. Mas high speed ng konti kaysa 15:43

Regarding 15:38 masyadong High speed, lalata motor mo. mabagal sa hatak at hindi maabot top speed kasi nabibigatan na makina.

Regarding naman sa 14:38 bale 15:40.7 yan, medio high speed pa din. malata pa din ng konti. hindi kayang ubusin yung top speed.

if you ask me the best na yung 15:43 or 14:40 sasagad na yung stock ng 118 to 120 kph. but kung gusto mong over 120 kph, use Unlimited CDI. (Walang nabibili na Unlimited CDI for TMX. papagawa ka lang. Sa Plaridel, Bulacan daw may gumagawa. From Chowking Plaridel, go to the Direction going to Malolos. sa bandang left side yung store na gumagawa, may katabi sa right side na Paint Center) Kilala ang Bulacan sa Motorcycle modification... Puwede ka din mag pa 6-Speed transmission kung ayaw mo magpagawa ng unlimited CDI.

One more big help is use Stock air-cleaner, Kasi sponge element na yan, design for racing... ang problem lang kasi sa air-cleaner ng TMX is yung casing niya. maliit lang air pumapasok sa dalawang butas sa taas ng air-cleaner. butasan mo ng around 1x2 inches yung mismong cover ng casing. mas maraming air intake mas mainam.

Yup i've played taekwondo before when i was in my 1st & 2nd year college. Acually KIX is my call sign before nung "in" pa mga 2 way radio back in 90's and i've adopt the KIX name from the official equiptment of taekwondo lalo na yung chest gear ganda nakikita kasi.
The reason i'm asking the sprocket combination is because malapit na akong mag palit. Yearly ako kasi nagpapalit ng sprocket & chain for preventive maintenance. I still like the performance of the stock TMX ayaw ko kalkal na makina thats why sa sprocket na lang ako magpapalit and maybe yung suggestion mo sa CDI. Kamukha ba yan sa mga racing CDI ng mga scooter? May YAMAHA APRIO kasi ako dati naka racing CDI siya pero inalis nung dati kung mekaniko yung limiter niya. Maganda yung performance.
Anyway pag may time baka tingnan ko yung sinasabi mo. dito lang naman ako sa pampanga.

Pwede po magtanong ano po ung size nung stock na sprocket ng TMX 155 sa harapan? balak ko kasi palitan ng 42 ung sa likod ko.
