Sir, isa ito sa pinagpipilian kong upgrade. Mejo tinatabangan na ko dito kasi merong misteryo.

Dito kasi, lumalabas na 196 cc lang siya.



Pero dito naman, lumalabas na 249 cc siya.



Alin ngayon ang tutoo. Kasi kung 85K tapos 200cc lang siya, masyadong mahal para sa isang local bike.

Baka mamaya katulad lang siya ng Tralax 200. In actuality, 124 cc lang.

Bought one this afternoon. Paid by checque, will have the unit maybe Tuesday or Wednesday next week. I was told that I'm the first to get this unit here in Luzon. All their previous stocks were shipped to the Visayas and Mindanao. They still have one unit left at their main office in Meycauayan Bulacan.

Next shipment will be arriving late March or Early April.

saw this one displayed in Inside Racing last year...hindi nga lang test drive unit.

at its price range, mahihirapan sya makipagkompetensya sa Moto-R with SRP 65,000. pero abangan natin, may ipapasok daw na bagong unit ang motorstar with a higher displacement.

Bukas o sa Wednesday ko pa makukuha yung unit. Ang con lang na nakita ko sa visual inspection ay ang quality ng welding. Mejo sloppy, malamang manually welded ito hindi robotized katuald nung iban China bikes ko.

Another con for me is the sprocket combi (16/47). Geared more for trail riding. I intend to use it for touring, so maybe I'll replace the rear sprocket to 42T, or the front sprocket to 17T

Yan din ang initial impression ko at first (see my posting below). But upon viewing it personally, I opined that this is a good "bang for the buck" in terms of quality and technology.

Front fork is HUGE and damping is adjustable.



Rear suspension travel is Long, good for my Gurangis back. Spring preload is adjustable, maybe 5 or more position. Multi link pa ang suspension sa likod (see video on previous post). Sounds good, although hindi ko alam ang advantage nito.

Delta box frame. Solid for better handling.



Comparing with the R155 (this was in my what to buy list BTW), I like the extra horses (250 vs 150) of the renegade and I'm not into the liquid cooling. Old school kasi ako at adherent to KISS principle.

Binreak in ko sa Infanta; Hindi ko na monitor ang fuel consumption dahil hard break in ang ginawa ko sa kanya at hindi magre-reflect sa ordinary riding. Top speed with 16/47 sprocket combo. I'm thinking of replacing the front sprocket with 17T, not for more TS but for lesser engine RPM on my cruising speed of 80kph. Less gas consumption too. Anyways, the engine has too much power than what I'll need. I'm used to and still riding my Euro 150 naked bike.

Both suspension default setting is a little hard for street use. Good for trail riding though. I was able to dial the rear suspension Spring and damping to my body weight. Yes the rear suspension damping rate can be adjusted.

The front fork is a little stiff even though I have the damping adjusted to its weakest. I'm thinking of replacing the shock oil with a lighter weight.

Masyadong limited ang market nito sa higher income earner. Malamang ang target nila ay dun sa mga merong gusto ng Honda KR 200, pero hindi naman kaya ang presyo; Katulad ko.

Mataas talaga nag fuel consumption, kaya pang laro laro ko lang siya. Pag dating sa long trip, si Euro 150 pa rin ang gagamitin ko.

sa 7K RPM siya kinompyut. Meron pang dagdag pag tinaas pa ang RPM. Saka mababa din ang compression niya, 9.5:1 compared sa ibang Dirt Bike na 10.5:1 pataas). Siguro for longevity, o siguro for safety kung mga hindi pa marunong sa MC ang bibili.

Mejo meron din limit ang CDI. Para kasing gusto pang mag RPM yung makina, nung sinubukan ko ang TS.

No idea Sir. Hindi pa ako naka try ng XR200. Saka ito rin ang first time kong mag try ng motard at over 150cc.

Pag dating naman sa quality, only time will tell.

Ang concern ko sa ngayon ay availability ng parts ng engine. Iba kasi ang design nya sa ibang naked engines.. Kaya inggat lang muna sa gamit at extra vigilance sa maintenance.

Hindi ba merong mechanical engine balancer ang R155. Kung gear type siya, OK yan sa pang matagalan. Kung chain driven, wag lang madalas matuwa.

Yung Euro 150 Pantra ko, push rod, 9.5K ang redline; Nung tinesting ko ang TS (115kph) ni Renegade (SOC), ang feeling ko ay kaya pang itaas ang RPM, kung magpapalit ako ng CDI. Siguro nga limited ang 5th gear sa 7K RPM... Baka Restricted model ito.

Walang tachometer si Renegade.
