    Re: rusi kr125/150

RUSI bikes has good engines on it. I bought a suzuki TSR last December 2010 and had it fitted wit an engine from a RUSI Charger 150 last July 2011, (those that looked like Suzuki Raider150). It was a 5 speed push rod type of engine but it had lots of power. My bike did not have a speedometer along with it when i bought it but at 150cc stock engine, an XR200 could not catch up (maybe because in actuality a stock XR200 could only go 120KpH)

i live nearby a RUSI branch here in Mandaue City, Cebu... I got a chance to drive the 125CC.. looks - 7/10; plastics 6/10; handling - 6/10; power - 7/10

one thing hindi ko nagustohan is the kambyada, its all down... mahirap to if your are doing trail... pero cguro sanayan lang talaga...

okay lang kung panay down huwag lang iyong ROTARY like other china bike 150cc, dati nag lagay ako sa aking HYBRID "Frankenbike" ng ASIA STAR engine ang naging handicap during the trail ride is the rotary gear...to solve the problem i have to install monitor light for the NEUTRAL position.

The engine in that bike is the very same type of engine i had installed in my Suzuki TSR. I got a 1 down 4 up shift pattern. But now i decided to have it replaced with an engine from a Honda GL125 "chain type", same bracket support so plug and play rewire nalang.

    Up for this bike RUSI...

i am not a veteran trail rider in reality i am always a Newbie kahit oldie na, IMHO, okay na pang trail ang KR125/150. much better get the 150cc para mas may power, the advantage is that the parts will be available and more cheaper, iyong kasing Kawasaki KX150 the price is Php113K. in most cases kapag sa tuyong terrain 4 stroke engine is the best kasi may gapang, pero kapag sa putikan kahit na iyong mga naka 4 stroke na 250cc nahihirapan din. but the main factor is the skill of the rider...sabi nga ng mga tropa dapat YABANGIS...may yabang at bangis...
