Bajaj has already been selling Bajaj pulsar in good number because of its masculine looks, number of variants and its well received brand name in the biking segment. Pulsar is the name used for this revolutionary performance bike which is still under development and is nearing completion.

The bike is under development at the Pune plant and the engine has been under development for quite some time. The key differentiating factor of the new Pulsar 250 will be its performance at a lower price compared to the other performance bikes of the power segment it will be placed in.

Despite being a sophisticated and powerful bike the Bajaj Pulsar 250 Twin price is expected to be less than Rs. 1.5 Lakhs. This is a performance bike with Racing DNA and competitive pricing will help increase the sales volumes compared to the other expansive super bikes of this power and performance segment.
Some of the features that are expected to be a part of the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 include – front and rear disk brakes, fuel injection based engine, projector headlamp, digital instrument console, sporty design, aerodynamic styling, racing style curves, mono-shock suspension in the rear with front telescopic suspension. All in all, it will be a seriously powerful and beautiful hear-turner.

Bajaj has been doing great with its Bajaj Pulsar range of bikes in India. It’s one of the high selling bikes in India and is quite popular especially with youth in India. We brought you a story about Bajaj Pulsar 250 CC back in March 2010. Eventually it has come out to be a different bike. As per some ancillary sources, Bajaj was about to sell a 2 cylinder 250 CC bike in India, which was mistakenly identified to be a Pulsar. The truth is that the two-cylinder engine pulsar has not been on Pulsar product range so far. Kawasaki Ninja 250R however seems to be the bike which matches the specifications which were suspected to be of Pulsar 250 back then.
As per the recent information, Bajaj will soon be launching a 250 CC single cylinder variant of Bajaj pulsar to compete with the Honda CBR250R and other 250 CC performance bikes scheduled for launch in the year 2011. One such expected launch is Yamaha FZ250 which may come around mid 2011.

As per the latest information, the Bajaj Pulsar 250 may hit the Indian roads around mid of year 2011. It will feature a single cylinder, oil cooled, 250 CC, 4 Valve Petrol engine. It will also features disk brakes and a monoshock suspension at the rear. The body styling is expected to be sharp like the styling of Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS. That's a Ninja 250... There are no Pulsar 250 in the Indian Market as of date... Likewise, Bajaj is currently on the drawing boards in developing either a 300cc or a 350cc Pulsar...

i know its a ninja. its written on my second post. but the news is they're currently working on a 250 single with 4 valves. think of the baby rouser 135ls but with 250cc. that's gonna be pretty good if and when it does come out.
