Last TimepinaTune-up ko YBie ko sa 3S d2 sa Antipolo after ng Tune Up napansin ko ang baba ng idle ko fron Cold Start unlike before ng tune up 1k ang idle ko from cold start. Then kapag mainit ang makina ng Ybie ko 2.5k to 3k ang idle. Kanina dinala ko sa mechanic sa tabi-tabi inadjust lang ung airscrew sa Carb. pero ganoon pa rin ung idle. So ano kaya ang magandang gawin sa YBie ko. Need ko talagamacondition ung YBie ko para sa Long Drive ko sa Friday.
OT
One more thing nagpalit ako ng Sprocket 48T/15 combi parang ang baba masyado ng RPM ko walang galit ung engine kahit mag rev ako. Please Help me to improve the performance of my YBie. TIA

I suggest dont use mushroom type filter kasi naka expose eto. Pwedeng naka higup ng tubig kapag malakas ang ulan. Mas ok parin ang mey air box.
Yun filter ko 3/4 thick s.brite na binalutan ng 1 layer stocking dampen w/ light oil. Yun perforated steel plate,pinalitan ko ng chicken wire. Dagdag butas din sa air box. Hi flow yet di naka lulusut yun alikabok kasi na dikit sa oil. Mura lang at disposable pa. Be sure

Nangyari narin sakin to 1wk palang Ybie ko pg start ko mataas rpm di nman nkachoke. In-adjust ko lang screw para bumaba sya pero nung uminit makina tumaas na nman. Up to now di parin stable ang settings nya lagi ako nag aadjust para sa suitable idle, wait ko lang siguro first tune up para mpatignan ko sa mechanic.![]()
Bro salamat sa info.... medjo worried lang kc ako sa consumption ng Gas kc kapag nasa traffic light ako nsa 3k ang rpm ko...kapag nag-adjust naman ako namamatay.... kanina ibinalik ko sa 3S antipolo sabi sumisingaw daw kaya pinalitan ng Clam ung connection ng Carb at Block kaso bumiyahe ako from A/C to Mandaluyong ganoon pa rin ngyari. San ba dapat nakalagay ung lock doon sa Pin ng Carb??? ibinaba kasi nya un dati kaya un ang suspect ko na reason!!!
Bro. Subukan mong mag adjust sa fuel screw para naging rich un mixture. Un nasa ilalim ng carb sa intake manifold side. Nakikita mo yun by using mirror. 1/2 turn Counter clockwise. Tapos e fine tuning mo na lang un idle speed sa air screw. Hth

Bro ung sinasabi ko na Lock ng Pin sa Carb, ei ung inaadjust sa Karayum ng Carb di ko kasi alam ang right term doon. kapag binuksan ung Black cover sa ibabaw ng Carb makikita yun doon...

Bro... Nangyari n din sa YBR ko ito nung 2k - 4k p ang odo... Nang pina tune up ko s Yamaha nung ika 4k ang odo hindi ko lang nireklamo na hindi stable ang idle... Alam ko kasi n pag nireklamo ko ay kung ano ano ang sasabihin n sira... after the tune up naging ok n ang idle ko...

Bro thanks sa suggestion it can help a lot for me to prepare my mc for my long ride on Friday... naisip ko nga na gawin ko na iadjust ung Needle Jet ibalik ko sa dati baka sakaling bumalik ung RPM like before... may on Thursday adjust ko sya...
Tama ka bro hirap humanap ng Mechanic na matino kasi ung TMX ko pinaTune-up ko rin, smooth nga ung takbo kaso ang hirap naman mag-start every morning. dati 4 kicks lang from Cold Start ng matune-up 10x na sipa ayaw parin. sakit sa Talampakan.

Anyways here are some new mods on my ybr..@ burayan..try mo bili ng carbon fiber sticker yung nilalagay sa mga hood ng cars para sa front fender mo. ganun ang ginawa ko sa akin pati sa hand guard at heat cover ng muffler ko, upload ko pics minsan..
Nag ride kami ni mrs. noong Holy Thursday..bisita iglesia...old churches here in pampanga..share ko lang consumption ko..
Distance Travelled - 237.5kms @ a full tank of gas..
Fuel up after Php300.00 @ 55.70/liter of fuel
Fuel consumption 5.39liters
Cruising speed 80-100kph
Average fuel consumption 44.10kms/liter

kamusta mga kybro?wala bang recall ng yamaha ang stator natin?nasunog narin ung sakin..tapos dun s pinagpaparewind ko may 2 rin ybr ng nasira ung stator..
kala ko matibay n ung sakin,.. hayzzzz...
sana marecall ng yamaha ung mga stator n deffective para mapalitan ng bago..

Share ko lang naibalik ko na sa Tono ung YBiee ko, konting adjust sa Needle Jet inilagay ko sa gitna ung adjuster nya, 2 1/4 clockwise turn sa airscrew and pwesto ok na sya pwede na ibeyahe bukas.
Bro Granger salamat sa advice na mag DIY ako for tuning ng Carb ko, nakatatlong mechanic din ako na pinagdalhan pero di nila naibalik ung tono ng carb. Buti na lang may Forum dito sa MCP.

Good Day po sa inyo its been a long time since nakapag post po dito, I apologize to our brothers, to Team YBR and for the rest of the group naging busy po lately. Let me please share our experience during our ride which supposed to be a Northloop Kaso as many of us experienced the usual defect ng ybr is the stator which Luckily bumigay na din nung ride namin.

To Start with April 19 Tue dalawa po kami bound to Northloop we met at Shell Makati we were very excited to do this epic ride dahil matagal na namin na plano ito ng aking ka opisina.

We are at Ildefonso nung Meron na po akong Naramdaman na kakaiba when my stallion biglang namamatay on lower rpm.
Symptoms
1. Below 3k rpm namamatay na sya.
2. Hard starting kailangan bakulaw ang mag kick start para umandar (yung ka opisina ko carlosaragena ang nag kick start) na manhid na hita ko kaka kick start.
We decided to look for a yamaha 3s shop along the way yung next town will be cabanatuan kaya doon na kami nag hanap.

diagnosed sunog na stator ang culprit.
Bypass Operation
inabot na sila ng gabi kaka check for the problem so we have to stay for a night to have the stator replaced.
We spent the night at the Travelers Inn
The place was cozy.
we just ate beside the hotel nag takeout lang nang mga kakanin, sisig pang pahaba ng buhay... hehee

the next day we went back to yamaha to check my stallion, the mechanic indicate that there were no available replacement stator but they can recommend someone who can rewind it.
They were having a hard time fixing the bike and our patience was pushed to the limits kaka hintay.
it almost toke lot of our schedule, we decided once this get fixed diretyo na kami hangang pagudpud. 28hrs passed when my bike finally got fixed (but not sure if it get fixed nga).
Guys from yamaha Cabanatuan were very accommodating

Then we say our goodbyes, but then there are questions in my mind if my bike can make the Northloop. Nag iba na kasi yung takbo nya since they've checked the bike, na rewind yung stator but hinde nila mapatakbo nung una so they made some modifications they conclude that meron din problem yung pulser dun sa stator. kaya kumuha sila ng piyesa ng CT120 which yung pulser at cdi magkasama at nilagay sa ride ko. umaandar kaso it doesnt felt the same iba na yung takbo may hagok at yung rpm umaabot ng 12k rpm sa first gear pa lang.
Umabot kami just after San Jose then the fear came to reality tinirik ako sa bundok... ayaw na ulit mag start...buti meron tumulong samin "Lakbay Alalay" who helped pull my bike to a nearest hotel at San Jose, dun na kami nag spent ulit ng night.
I woke up early 5am the next day to look for a good mechanic at San Jose nag tanong ako sa mga tricycle driver and nag visit na din sa simbahan.
I found one si Manong nakalimutan ko tanungin name nya. But I felt that he was credible working on my bike. He gave the assurance that he can fix it. He told na baligtad daw ang pagkaka rewind ng stator which indicated na hinde na kailangan lagyan pa pulser ng ct120 ang nagawa yata dun sa yamaha ay instead na rewind na forward ata!
Manong told to replace the rewind stator to an original one.
The place was par from what yamaha cabanatuan has but what really count is Manong did the right job.
sa wakas nag okay na din sya.
End of the day we decided to go back and recoup our Will was tested as long as there are roads to travel we will go back and try again "what cannot break us will only make us strong" pero ipon mode ulit heheeeee
