TONS racing
Bought a pair of Sapphire tires, 60/90 and 70/90, last October 2009. Replaced the rear tire just last week with another Sapphire tire, also 70/90, and the old one still has considerable thread on it.
Remember that not propperly inflating the tire to correct pressure will reduce its service period.
Six months' worth of rubber for a rider and a pillion averaging 80 km per day is worth the money. Me and my pillion weigh a combined weight of 300+ pounds. I am sticking with this brand for now.
By the way, my route is Daang Hari. I occasionally run hard and break hard. No skids and slides yet.
A lot of shops offer this brand along Molino and Bahayang Pag-asa in Cavite, also in Pasong Buwaya.
Ride safe.
Saan available (Caloocan if possible) and how much kaya? TIA sa sasagot...![]()
SAY NO TO STUPID MC LANES!!!
Personally, after using 2 sets of this tire, yung thread marks only lasted around 5000 kms before the grooves became bald. Take note that the tire wear is not equal. May portions na sobrang kalbo and some portions still have grooves.

@mt391...
So Sir mabilis sya maupod??
@fujiko
Me pics ka ba sir nitong "banana type" na gamit nyo? TIA!...![]()

Yung approx na 5000 kms sa Sapphire na Mizzle-type thread may still be good for some riders, but for me hindi na. On my calculation, aabot siguro ito ng 8000 kms kung sasagarin yung thread wear (totally kalbo ang contact patch). I am basing this on normal road conditions, moderate traffic, and legal speed.
Addendum: The first set that I bought lasted longer (6 months of use). Those were the first batch that Evergreen Tire released. You would know if it is among the first batch if it still has the directional arrow embosed the wrong direction. The subsequent batches (that I think are of inferior quality) have their directional arrow covered up by a rubber rectagle to hide the wrong direction and lasted me less than 6 months of use.

Up for this thread...
Just had one. so far tag-ulan, dipa naman ako dumudulas...
To God Be The Glory!!!
BTW
im using dunlop for my front for braking purposes lalo sa late brakes pag nagmamadali.

"He's back."
I've tried using this tire, 80/80x17 front and 90/90/17 rear yung parang michellin ang thread pattern for more or less 18k kilometers in 1 year and 2 months. No flats except nung napako ang gulong.

ganun pa din sakin ser after ilang months,same performance pa din kahit naka lean ung motor.
