Not $1000 but $1000 above japanese biek prices. That of course is in the states. In the PI it all depends on who has it. Since they are not as common as other bikes you can bet it will be close to 1million. Thats because of the crazy import taxes. When i first moved over to cebu i was going to ship my bikes over but after getting a tax quote it was cheaper to sell them and just by here. Unfotunatly your options for upgrading big bike (nitrous, turbo, ext swingarm) and all the rest is not as available but it can be found and if you have an overseas adress you can get it mailed to you.
One would "buy" a german bike IF it will offer better value for money. Everything changes, so there is a possibility that german bikes will be better in the future.
@jerviejeb1
according to article, USD 1000 or so more expensive than current equivalent Japanese bikes.
if you would check the link provided it stated there that SRP is around 15k USD, roughly 700k+ pesos that is without shipping eh the gigantic Customs Taxes here in PH.![]()
thats just plain wrong.
stupid customs. @_@

Manila-Matnog-Manila,North Loop via Kayapa-Ambuklao road(solo tandem ride),sagada 3x,bolinao 2x,baler solo tandem,Manila-Visayas-Bicol-Manila nautical highway loop solo tandem
These 1000cc bikes seem overpriced compared to US prices, I guess that is due to the import tax. So maybe I have to settle for Kawasaki ER-6F. It put I big smile on my face when I tried it anyway, but it is not a racing bike:(
Where are they selling it cheapest in Luzon?
try to ask KMPC directly.
here's their contact info:
http://www.kawasaki.ph/contact_us.php
if they don't sell ER-6F, i'm sure they can give you referrals or something.
The ER-6F or Ninja 650R's available at the Kawasaki store in Libis.
