guys is this bike already available here? i haven't seen one personally....but it looks great
similar to motorstar xplorer 250 same tires, forks, calipers, footpegs except that this is already full faired, with nice looking gauges, underseat dual pipes, water cooled (from the looks of the engine side)....etc.

Ang motorstar po eh local n company dito sa pilipinas na kumuha ng producto ng zongshen 200gs at 250gs pra ibenta at pinangalanan nilang xplorer z200 at z250.
My producto silang gwa ng zongshen pero my mga product din silang hndi galing s zongshen gya ng inag scooters at ubs nila.
My zongshen philippines din po na nagbebenta nman ng zongshen products dito. sila nman ngbebenta ng mga zongshen n products lang.

marami pang basic stock parts ang kagaya ng z200/250 so i guess baka it will be availble soon. sana nga lang not more than 400cc.

Pros: Of the cheaper priced bikes, is one of the better to buy. Reliable, good quality finish and mechanicals. 2yr warranty parts/svce.(10,000km). Easy to work on for do-it-yourselfer. Excellent brakes.
Cons: None to be mentioned.
Overall: This bike is easy to work on and comes with a well illustrated,comprehensive manual. Can be bought new in a crate for about $3500 or from a dealer for about AUD$4000 to $4500. Would best suit a new biker or someone getting back to bikes. You can buy it new in preference to a thrashed Jap bike for the same price. That was my thoughts before buying and it has certainly paid off.

Pros: It was a cheap first bike, looks like a real bike
Cons: almost everything about it is cheap from the head lamp retaining clip getting so hot it melts the lugs that hold it on to the speedometer being at least 10 km out.
Overall: As the bike was my first bike to learn to ride on I didn't have anything else to compare it with, but after seeing and talking to other owners of Zongshen bikes I leaned that the problems I had weren't uncommon and I am yet to see an owner who can say its a great bike. If I had my choice to buy or recommend a Zongshen bike I wouldn't.

Pros: Good Design. Reliable. Easy to work on. Cheap to buy. Fuel economical (2.4L/100km). Comfortable seat. Decent size fuel tank (20L)gives about 900kms range on full tank.
Cons: No center stand. Needs 6th gear to lower the revs and engine noise.
Overall: Good decent bike for learner or casual rider. Bit noisy at over 6000rpm and runs out of legs at this rpm. Could be better with 6th gear but will always start first go and can be ridden 100kms stretch or more without failing or missing a beat.Is a single cyl clone of a 70s/80s Kawasaki motor.

Currently Zongshen is mainly working with Eastworld Motor Corp (Motorstar) in the Philippines. It is unclear if Eastworld will make the ZS250GS-20 available under the Motorstar brand name. All of the Motorstar products are Zongshen (that I am aware of). If Eastworld decides to carry the ZS250GS-20, then it will have the Motorstar name on it. If other companies decide to distribute it, then it will either have their product name or possibly the Zongshen name.
Eastworld (Motorstar) has discontinued selling the ZS250GS (Xplorer) and are now only selling the ZS200GS (Xplorer).
When I can find out additional information, I will try to update here as well as on my blog at http://blog.marshallsportsbikes.com
Even if Eastworld (Motorstar) doesn't carry/distribute the ZS250GS-20, Marshall Sports Bikes for sure will distribute it.
My contact at Zongshen emailed me yesterday. Motorstar will be given the first option to carry the ZS250GS-20 under the Motorstar name. If they decide to not carry it, then it will be available to other dealers with a different label. But because of the Motorstar/Zongshen relationship, Zongshen doesn't plan to have their bike available with the Zongshen label on it. So we will have to wait until early 2011 to find out if Motorstar will carry the ZS250GS-20.
According to my contact at Zongshen, it is different than the former Z250GS engine... all new specs
