Comparison made between a Honda CBR 150 and the Bajaj Rouser 200.

I saw both motorcycles on sale in our place today. The Bajaj Rouser costing 90k and the CBR 150 at 137k. Im planning to buy the CBR 150 instead this year. Hope you guys will share your opinion. Both bikes are great but each has a different personality. I cant sleep, m too excited....

If you have the money to spend for it then the Honda CBR 150R is the bike of choice.
I see no wrong decision coming from bringing this bike home with you.

The riding quality, the riding position, the engine output and the whole riding experience as a whole will surely be delivered to you by the Honda CBR 150R above par compared to any other local bikes locally distributed here in the Philippines.

    Ride safe!

I have owned a cbr150 before and sold it for my own reasons and that's why I think I'd rather get the Rouser than the CBR even if I have the budget.

Re: Honda CBR 150R rating vs. BajajRouser/Pulsar 200

Each bike is used for completely different purposes. But if I were to choose 1 bike to use for daily commuting, I'd go for the Rouser 200. Kasi its a lot cheaper than the CBR150, and it gives good mileage for a 200cc bike. Not to mention the torque and top speed is also exceptional. But still, Bajaj is Bajaj. An Indian made bike only distributed by Kawasaki Philippines.

But if you're BRAND conscious, get the Honda CBR 150.

Both bikes have the same problem, availability of parts. Mahirap makahagilap. By Order Basis lang po sila most of the time. But if you're willing to wait & pay a huge amount for the parts get any of the two. But if you're not, get another bike. Lets say, a Yamaha YBR 125 G or a Motorstar Xplorer z250.

Pare koy, IMO these two bikes should not be compared. As what you have said these two bikes have their own personality. The truth is, they are of different category. DOHC ang CBR while SOHC naman ang Rouser. Ibang-iba dude. And using the word "Pantra" is so immature por que ba ganun ang hitsura ng manebela?

Kaw din nagsabi na sports ang CBR. Street bike po ang Rouser FYI. Kaya talagang di pwede icompare.

Have you seen it already? Are you sure that CBR has better technology than the Rouser? Look deeper dude 'cos you might be wrong.

Here are some of its TECHNOLOGY

    Technology

    DTSi
DTSi stands for Digital Twin Spark Ignition, a Bajaj Auto trademark. The DTSi idea is a simple one to understand - it involved usage of two spark plugs (instead of the usual choice of one) per engine cylinder.

Bajaj Auto holds an Indian patent for the DTSi technology. The Alfa Romeo Twin-Spark engines, the BMW F650 Funduro which was sold in India from 1995 to 1997 also had a twin-spark plug technology, and the Rotax motorcycle engines, more recently Honda's iDSI Vehicle engines use a similar arrangement of two spark-plugs. However very few small capacity engines did eventually implement such a scheme in their production prototypes. This may be the case because the idea was perhaps not observed to yield any significant or noticeable performance benefit that could be justified against the additional investment of an extra spark plug. This may well be the reason behind very few Indian motorcycles offering products based

While Bajaj claims that the Pulsar is a complete in house product, it should also be known that they had learnt a considerable know-how of building motorcycles from their erstwhile technology partner Kawasaki. Take for instance the original Kawasaki-Bajaj Eliminator, (now sold as the Bajaj Avenger) that had a different engine design than that of the current 180/200 cc Avenger series.

    ExhausTEC
ExhausTEC stands for Exhaust Torque Expansion Chamber, a Bajaj Auto trademark. The technology involves use of a small chamber connected to the exhaust pipe of the engine to modify the back-pressure and the swirl characteristics, with an aim to improve the low-end performance of the bikes. This was attempted in response to the issue of a reported lack of low-end response in Bajaj's single-cylinder four-stroke engines. The ExhausTEC technology is claimed to be highly effective in improving the overall engine response, especially the low-end torque characteristics. This enhanced performance is claimed to come at no loss of top-end performance or engine smoothness.

I think there's a plus for Honda CBR with regards to speed 160 km/hr against the Rouser's 135 km/hr,but the fuel consumption is more on the CBR 10 km/3liters compared to the Rouser's 38-42 km/liter,If the stats is correct I still have a doubt of the fuel consumption considering that Rouser had a 200cc displacement but fuel consumption is quite lower compared to the 150cc displacement of CBR150,one should go for Honda CBR if he is kind of a speed and sporty guy,for a business/work oriented guy who also wanted looks for his ride I think he should go for the Rouser. As for durability and reliability I will certainly suggest go for Honda CBR150.IMHO
Just ride safely as fast as you can, enjoy your ride...

    @ Fuser
What i mean of better technology is the overall quality of the bike. CBR 150 has the edge simply because it has Honda technology. peace
