LTO Fines & Penalties section

According to the website of LTO (www.lto.gov.ph), the fine/penalty of not wearing a helmet when driving a motorbike/motorcycle is only P750.00.
But according to my friends, the fine/penaly is P1,500.00 +. The LTO (yung mga naninita sa highway) is/are charging P1.5K if they caught a motorbike rider who is not wearing a helmet.

The LTO website may not be updated.

As far as i know, LTO fine for non-wearing of helmet is already 1,500.

Yup. they should to avoid mis-info. some LTO fines are much higher now than other LGU's traffic ordinance.

Bro 1500 na nga ngayon yan plus seminar....kasama yan sa mga LTO fines na nag-increase under DO 2008-39....eto yung DO na pinoprotesta ng nga jeepney operators/drivers

Outdated na nga yung nasa website nila...pero merong dalang copy yung mga enforcer at may mga nakapost din sa LTO offices....di ko lang alam kung napublish ito sa mga newspapers to take effect....kaya yata may mga transport protest/strikes

Mukhang malaki naman yata masyado ang fine sa mga di nag-he-helmet? Pero para narin kasi sa mga motorcycle riders siguro yan. Para mapilitan silang magsuot ng helmet habang nag-da-drive.

Maganda rin na implemented yan sa mga backriders or middle riders (kung dalawa ang backrides).

Ibang violation naman ito bro...."only one (1) back rider shall be allowed on a motorcycle or scooter......."....."allowing only 1 back rider shall be mandatory only along national and highly urbanized city roads....."

sa meycauayan LTO sa Bulacan, pag end of the month laging active manghuli. kasama pa hepe nila sa kalsada. kadalasan ay no helmet at wearing slippers while driving ang violation ng mga naka-motor. ung no helmet ay 1.5k plus seminar ata. isa ako sa mga nahuli ng wearing of slippers. dami namin kinabukasan sa office para tubusin ang lisence, around 20 siguro, puro wearing of slippers 580.00 ang fine pero bwenas naman nung ako na tinawag ng cashier, laking gulat ko at 180.00 lang siningil sa akin. dali dali akong umalis kasi ung mga nasa likuran ko ay medyo nag-iingay na dahil nga pare-pareho kami ng violations, ung mga nauna ay 580.00 samantalang ako ay 180.00 lang. sakay agad sa scoot at harurot agad. mahirap na baka mag-chuchu ung mga ibang nahuli...

pag overdue npo ang registration? 93 po ang ending ng plate ko, hindi ko po naasikaso iparegister kc umuwi po ako probinsya eh...markano po penalty?

ano po ba maganda ip[arehistro ko muna d2 sa manila before bringing it to cebu, or sa cebu ko npo iparehistro...?
