mga bossing, i have a prob tuning my kawasaki fury's carb. Is there somebody who knows its default setting? Thanks in advance...
For open pipe, base sa nabasa ko sa ibang thread, higher valve clearance kailangan, the same lang ang A/F adjustment if Denso Iridium gamit mo.
I have observed also, to attain maximum performance, mag open pipe ka lang if you make also few changes like racing cam, cdi and spring ba yun for the clutch, kung hindi ...maingay lang at matakaw sa gas with the same top speed even if you will change sprocket combination for high speed.
Di ba 125cc lang Fury natin, maliit lang ang exhaust pipe because my friend, an accredited Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki Mechanic, said that ganyan yan because of the back flow from the exhaust in order to attain atleast 120 km./hr. in less than a kilometer streach of the road. Look at Raider 150cc, di ba malaki exhaust pipe because higher displacement na sya.
Advice ko, stock lang muna and observe the performance of your Fury.
Sa akin stock lang, clean air filter, sakto adjustment ng A/F, mineral lang ang oil, premium gas, iniba lang ang valve adjustment and kinuha yung mga tubes sa pipe, I replace it with a single pipe at nilagyan ko ng fiber mat, alloy rims para magaan, dunlop and mizzle tire combination para makapit for banking at rainy days, so far, madali lang ang 110 km/hr, yuyuko kana if gusto mo paabutin ng 125 pero never ko pa na attain ang 130 sa set up ko na to so, medyo di pa ko satisfied. Ang taas no? Hope you be guided at scan sab sa ibang Thread Bai, daghan kaayo ka makuha ideas which you can apply for your bike.
ang adjustment ko ngayon, .005 mm. intake and .006 exhaust,
so far ok naman, observation period pa.
as to air filter, it came to my mind na parang ang Kawasaki adapted it
from old american cars where ang air filter/element are soak with oil
than the idea of using paper elements or air filters wrap with stockings...
old school pero maganda ang Fury Air Cleaner.
hay, your my angel po talaga. Sana biyayaan ka ni lord nang marami. Thanks a lot po.
try ko po mga suggestions nyo. sana, i will have enough tools to do it. hehehe
if you're not an accomplished carburetor tuner & you have no idea to read the symptoms of a lean or rich mixture i suggest you refrain from tinkering with your o you might just make the problem worse.

Noted.
Sa Fury Service Manual kasi .05 mm. standard clearance for both, but when I have it adjusted after 3,000 kms. before an Accredited Kawasaki Service Mechanic dito sa amin, .05 mm. Intake and .06 mm. Exhaust ang adjustment niya.
So, I will try the .08 mm. for both intake and exhaust when I have my next change oil. The adjustment for my Honda Wave Alpha (although 100cc yun) is .07 mm., ok talaga performance, hiyang sya sa bigger clearance.
Tuloy lang natin Sir kahit A/F adjustment ang original query kasi mas important at mahirap ang adjustment ng valve clearance.
so pano po ba talaga default config ng a/f mixture ng fury naten? kasi fury ko mejo nagkaka problem e....
