Please follow the rules and your forum account will stay clean, meaning: No warnings, infraction, and banned account. The rules are made to keep this forum clean and friendly. If you don’t like any of these rules then you may leave the forum anytime.
NOTE: If the messages you post in this forum violate any of the Forum Guidelines stated below, your messages will be deleted or locked at the discretion of the administrator and/or the moderators without notice. The administrator and the moderators are also NOT required to provide a public/private explanation why a post/message has been locked/moved/merged or deleted.
RESPECT THE AUTHORITY OF MODERATORS AND ADMINS- ADMINS AND MODS decisions are absolute and final. Do not dispute a decision publicly with staff members. Any posts found to be disputing decisions made by staff members will be removed. If you feel, however, that a decision is unjust or unfair, please contact an Administrator directly.
- ADMINS AND MODS have all the right to warn you, if you have any problems, address a Moderator or an Admin. This is the best way to handle any problem as they are the ones who make changes around here.
- Users may disagree with the staff members but this must not be aired in public because this tends to create negative feedbacks within the forums. You may PM the staff member in question to air your disagreements. This rule also applies to staff members.
LANGUAGES- We encourage everyone to use English.
- The reason behind this is for the other non Filipino members to understand you.
- Taglish / Tagalog is fine just don't overdo it.
NO PIRACY- We do not allow Bootleg Stuff discussion/sale/information.
Avoid OFF Topics- When posting a message, stay on topic as much as possible.
- Off-topic posts should be labeled "OT" but SHOULD INCLUDE ON-TOPIC REPLY.
- OFF-TOPIC is allowed at Chit-chat at the The Lounge Area Section.
NO DOUBLE/CONSECUTIVE POSTING- DO NOT post 2 or more messages in a row on the same/other thread/categories.
- DO NOT make the forum a chat thread too, make sure that your posts actually mean something.
MULTIPLE ACCOUNT- Please be aware we DO NOT allow Multiple Account
- If you are caught having more than one, all of your accounts will be banned automatically.
FLAMING/TROLLING/SPAMMING/ THREAD HIJACKING- Proper netiquette is required for participation in Motorcycle Philippines Forum.
- Lashing out at other participants is strictly forbidden so NO FIGHTING.
- Make sure your post makes sense and is on topic
- Posts composed entirely of smileys and/or of Very short responses will be considered as spam.
- Posts with very long quotes can be considered as spam.
- If you think a thread or post is spam, please don't post a reply. Inform/report the Mods about it.
- Consecutive posts. Posting consecutive replies on a single thread can be considered spamming.
- If you forgot something in your previous post, use the edit button. You are allowed to edit your own posts for a certain time limit.
- One-word and one-line replies are not allowed! Please do not spam the boards with replies like 'Hmmm', 'LOL', Huh??? What?; and the like.
- Posting of emoticons is also considered spamming. Meaningless posts will be deleted without warning. If you're posting a one-line reply, make sure it contains at least five words to make a point.
TEXT SPEAK / TEXT LINGO / All Caps is NOT ALLOWED
• Reading abbreviated or shortened words or better known as text lingo can be irritating.
• Please remember to check your spelling, grammar and abbreviation to ensure that you get your message across.
• We have a handy edit feature, learn to use it.
BE TOLERANT, UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECTFUL OF OTHER PEOPLE'S POINT OF VIEW- If you strongly disagree or are upset over somebody's posting, simply respond by stating your point of view.
- Do NOT criticize, censure or ridicule others for their beliefs, opinions or views.
- Please also take INTO account the difficulty many people have in expressing their precise feelings and emotions in a written message.
REDUNDANT TOPICS- Learn to use search tool before you create a new topic.
- Mods have the right to lock or delete these kinds of topics.
ON CREATING, QUOTING AND REPLYING ON THREADS:- Creating a thread. When you like to post something and ask for information or help, please try to give as much information as possible in order to make it easier for us to try to give you an answer.
- Please only start a thread if you think it is worth discussing. Also make sure that the title says what the topic is about. The mods have the right to rename your thread to what they think is proper.
- Posting a reply. Don't post for the sake of posting. If you have nothing important to say then it's better that you don't post a reply. Please try to stay on topic. Posts that are out of topic can be deleted/edited by mods at any time.
- Quoting a post. Please quote only part of the post that you want to answer or discuss. DO NOT quote very long posts; you can delete part of the quote which will be irrelevant to your post.
- Please don't quote super nested quotes.
- When posting articles: songs, poems, stories, etc. from other sites, please state your sources (URLs), and do not try to pass them off as your own.
THREAD/POST DELETION- Mods have the right to delete any thread/post that violates any rules. DO NOT WHINE when your posts get locked/deleted. FOLLOW FORUM RULES!
AVOID THE FOLLOWING TOPIC TITLES WHEN POSTING, SUCH AS:- HELP ME PLEASE! / I NEED HELP! / I have a question. / BIG problem! / NOOB needs help! / Problems / URGENT! / HELP ME PLEASE. / NEED HELP FAST. or ANYTHING like the above!
- Please try to be as specific as possible in choosing a title for your post. This not only helps us to get an idea of the content, it also helps to find a topic faster which should result in quicker replies.
IMAGES- Avatars, profile, post or anywhere within Motorcycle Philippines Forum that are sexual in nature are forbidden. Breast area, buttocks area, groin area or sexual organs, any private parts or alike should remain private. Brutal/morbid/gory images are also not allowed.
IMAGE SIZE- Limit your image size maximum of 640X480 only, bigger than that should post only as URL or LINK or thumbnail form of click to enlarge.
SIGNATURE- You are allowed up to one images/rows of Signature (Maximum Size is 450px X 100px)
- Text signature is allowed up to two (2) lines.
- No posting of Advertisement links on Signature unless you're one of the supporters on board.
- Your signature can have a maximum total file size of 50kb only.
ADVERTISEMENTS IN YOUR FORUM SIGNATURE- Advertisement of illicit sites, competitor forums, inappropriate websites, scamming sites, phishing sites, explicit forums is prohibited.
- Members' Signature may be used to advertise a Blog or a Personal site or anything unrelated to this board, provided they do not conflict with the forum SIGNATURE rules

BUYING AND SELLING- All advertisements posts are allowed in the Forum Classifieds Only Commercial Selling is allowed for site supporters only.
- We DO NOT ALLOW Trading / Advertisement on Discussion board.
- This includes any seller or anyone with a financial interest in or in a partnership with a company to promote their own product and services.
- REPOSTING of ADS is allowed once every 5 days. This is to give chance to all members to show their ads on the 1st page.
- Member are allowed to EDIT/ADD items (within 5 days) on their posted ADS so learn to Edit your post
- All Advertisements posted on other Discussion Categories will be removed without notice and delete the post and given warning.

CONTENT FILTERING- Motorcycle Philippines Admin/Mods reserves the right to edit, delete, or prune any and all Messages which, in its sole opinion, violates any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
- Any user who feels that a Message is objectionable may request Motorcycle Philippines Admin/Mods to delete said message by PM. Upon receipt of such a request, Motorcycle Philippines will determine, in its sole opinion, if such deletion is necessary. If deemed necessary, Motorcycle Philippines will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable period.

Motorcycle Philippines does NOT allow commercial entities (shops, distributors, etc) to post the sale of their products and services. If any commercial entity is interested to advertise on MotorcyclePhilippines.Com, please contact the administrator through email.
Members using the Classifieds are to abide to this section's rules and regulations and non-compliance will render his/her account to be banned by the Moderator(s)-in-charge.
The administrator and the moderators are NOT required to provide a public/private explanation why a post/message has been locked or deleted,
because all you have to do is refer to this thread and chances are you have
violated a thing or two here.
- Commercial Selling is allowed for affiliates and sponsors only.
To protect the our affiliates/sponsors, sellers who trade or supply a large quantity of stocks for sale cannot post or sell in this forum. This policy helps support our sponsors/affiliates, who in turn help make this site possible.
Commercial selling is defined by the following subsection(s):- Items are sold for a beneficial profit to any business(es), shop(s)/workshop(s) or legally registered bodies
- More then one motorcycle/item sold by a seller without seller's ownership. Meaning the concurrent sale of more than ONE motorcycle(s)/item(s) which do not belong to the seller.
To be fair to all other personal sales threads and users who have paid to advertise their services or items in Motorcycle Philippines, the Moderators will not hesitate to remove any "private sales" threads WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
Please DO NOT PM us asking why your thread was deleted. If you find that your thread has "disappeared" it means that your thread has somehow violated the Classifieds Rules and Regulations and has been removed.
The rules are VERY VERY CLEARLY stated in the Classifieds Rules and Regulations and if you still somehow missed this bulletin or sticky thread, neither Motorcycle Philippines nor its moderators will be responsible for any damages.
We get many PMs daily, and we are not obliged to reply to each and every PM.
- The following items are not allowed to be posted on the Classifieds as well as the rest of the forum:
- Firearms and Ordnance
- Pornography
- Illegal Drugs
- Pirated Software/Movies/Games/Music
- Non authentic items a.k.a imitations
- Other items deemed in bad taste by the Moderators
All items posted that fall under any of the above conditions shall be deleted and 3 infraction points given to the poster.
- Provide complete information about the item you are buying/selling. If you provide adequate information your item will sell faster due to people having to ask less questions. Be as descriptive as possible about the condition of the item. Use clear and concise thread titles to describe your item. Avoid placing details in the thread title.
Examples:
For Sale:
Yamaha Mio 2007 Model, 20000km very fresh 60,000 negotiable.

The proper thread titles should be
For Sale: 2007 Yamaha Mio.
Honda XLR200
All other details should be placed inside the ad itself.
All items must contain the following information:- Title (Item or Product for sale)
- Price of Item (NO PRICE, NO AD)
- Image of item for sale (Please follow forum rules)
- Description of Item - Condition (New, Used etc), Price discount, information that is relevant to the product for sale.
- Correct Contact Information – Contact person, Mobile, email, Landline or address.
Ads without any of the given information will be deleted. If you are trying sell an item make sure you take the time and effort to sell it properly.
- Replies to the threads have been disabled to prevent thread jacking and off topic posts. Buyers are expected to directly contact the sellers through the information provided in their ad.
- Sellers can only repost ads after 5 days of their previous post.
Give everyone a fair shake at being on top or at the first page for 5 days.
Only the ads from the last 30 days will be displayed. This will keep the Classifieds section streamlined and easy to search through.
- Private sellers may post 1 ad every 5 days to give everyone a fair shake at being on top or at the first page for 5 days. Private sellers with multiple items of the same category may include it in their single post.

- Private sellers may post 1 ad every 5 days in any of the categories in the For Sale section, granted that the items fall under the proper description. Misplaced ads will be deleted automatically.
- If your item has already been sold. Please edit your title and include “SOLD” so it can be deleted.
- Buyers and Sellers may report good or bad deals in the Feedback section of the For Sale and Wanted forum. This will act as a review or warning to prospective buyers and sellers on the site.
If there is an existing thread regarding a certain buyer/seller users are expected to post there instead of creating a new thread to avoid cluttering the forum.
Only transactions made on the Forum and Free Classifieds will be allowed to be reviewed here. No review of an external seller/buyer, especially commercial establishment will be posted. Reviews of this nature will be deleted without notice.
A FEW REMINDERS
- Remember that the risk of trading, exchanging, selling, or buying goods and services here is completely your own. Caveat Emptor!
- The administrator and the moderators reserve the right to edit/delete any posts that they deem inappropriate or view as detrimental to the interest of Motorcycle Philippines and its members.
- By posting, it is assumed that you have already read, understood and accepted the above guidelines
- These rules and guidelines are subject to change at anytime. It is the responsibility of the people using this forum to occasionally review these rules. So ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
