This might sound cheap (!!), but is there anyone in Manila who restores helmets? No sense buying a new one, if the one you've got is high quality, but needs a little rejuvenation...

may i ask how old is this helmet you're refering to....and what kind of restoration you want to do with it....

it may not only sound cheap...but you might be compromising your safety as well....

it's not the shell that smells. Its the styro, lining etc sa interior part ng helmet... cant get rid of it... but to replace

kung may detachable cheek pad, e palaba regularly would lessen the smell.

If youre using a balaclava, ang tagal bumaho ng helmet.

Eto pa, pag ka tapos mo mag ride, wag mo ipatong ng walang hangin sa loob. Kung may fan e itapat mo muna kahit 2 minutes para matuyo. Ipatong mo na bukas ang visor parati.

May helmet cleaner din na nabibili. Parang foam ang solution nun. Matapang ang joy sa muka. Magkaka pimples ka sa pisngi. hehe.

oo nga napansin ko na makati sa mikha, una i use downy di ko na nababad nilagay ko lang para bumangon pero umasim lalo, kaya nag brush ako ng joy natanggal pati un dumi na nakasiksik sa foam madumi na pala, kaya pinapatuyo ko sa araw pero tag ulan ngaun hirap magpatuyo, sa electric fan lang, try ko rin sa hair blower babaho parang sunog!
