Nako ha mahirap po yang pirated na helmet delikado po yang sa ating mga motorista...kaya po mgta sir tignan pong mabuti ang quality ng ating bibilhing helmet.

Dami nagkalat na FAKE helmet!!! lahat na yata ng BRAND meron imitation!!!

Kahit yon binibilhan mong store mukha nila imitation na rin kc kapag tinanong mo kung fake ba yon product sasabihin original pa rin makabenta lang.....tsk....tsk....tsk......PEACE

better buy helmets at authorized dealers only.

it's a pity that there are still a lot of people who ride MCs who think that all helmet is the same...much more for those who think that use helmets just for "iwas-huli" sake....

That's exactly what happened to my head when i had a spill., 2 years ago...
the brand is LEVIN... the screw for the visor scraped my scalp..
buy the original and ECE, DOT or SNELL approved helmets!!!

kami yung tumigil nun sat na yun and always remember na mgadala ng medkit if ever.

does index have DOT or SNELL certification??? coz if they have, this things might not be happening to our fellow riders (screw issue)... atleast your friend have a helmet, imagine what happen if he is not wearing a helmet or fake helmets...atleast index lessen the injuries!!

di po lahat ng index ay fake..... ang orig na index detachable ang visor khit walang screw matatanggal mo iyon..... na recall ko nga pala yung angkas ni mask rider black nuon gamit index.... shoei sakanya..... peace :banana:

if ever getting an index get the 911. i've seen a friend who had a short term amnesia and lost his eyesight for more than 3 hours after a crash and he was wearing an index 411. i'm not so sure if index is dot, ece or snell approved but as far as i know they're certified by thai safety regulations. to be sure add an extra 1.5k to 2k to get your peace of mind when getting a helmet.

As the cliche goes, you get what you buy.
Be very careful about ece, dot or snell certifications - - even that is being faked.
you know what we should suggest inside racing magazine to come up with an issue to list what are dot, ece, snell certified helmets and how much they cost compared to the fake ones.

Wag sanang maliitin ang INDEX dahil kahit cheap-o lang ito, DOT certified naman ang helmet. Ang ingatan lang ay makabili ng fake INDEX helmet.

meron fake na index na helmet made in china, mura ang presyo kasi, pero quality is very poor talaga, i try to pick one. try to press it sa side ng dalawang palad makikita nyo na malambot talaga! parang plastic ng gallon ng langis na three times lang ang kapal. marami yan sa divisoria sa mga nagtitinda ng china product! beware!

doble ingat lang and a lot of discipline when riding a bike,what ever kind of bike your using basta 2 wheels delikado talaga..I think the goverment should regulate the quality of the helmets for sale in our country para lang masulit yung pinangbili natin.Olats talaga systema eh.

ingat din sa mga LTO certified helmets :D (yung mga walang DOT/SNELL/ECE certification). Siguraduhin ding authentic yung certifications. at higit sa lahat... ingat ingat sa pagmomotor... ride your own pace.

ok langsir butchoy ako ung spearhead nila during that ride and when I saw 1 man daw I immediately stop our ride para malaman kung sino may dalang med kit at buti naman one of our rider has a med kit ung naka z200 na kulay pula. kaya mga sir if mag ride dapat meron isa sa inyo mechanic and nag fifirst aid para sa mga ganitong sakuna..

usually bought at sidewalks., bargain stores., bargain price

there may be some manufacturers who produce helmets using just one shell size but
Internationally known brands usually have two or three shell sizes...from there the thickness of the inner liner & the EPS differ to accomodate different sizes.

sir, iba-iba ang size ng helmets.. at iba-iba rin types.. u can compare it naman sa gross size.. meron din naman mgkapareho ng gross size pro ang loob d preho ang space.. dpende sa manufacturer sir.. meron ako na try..parehong large pro yung isa, d magkasya sakin.. meron man yung L ng isang brand kasya sakin pro yung XL ng iba hindi..

im still using my helmet of our first motorcycle more than 10years ago.. PENGUIN brand nya..worth php1700 noon.. iba materials nya sa loob at hindi maiinit suotin.. hanggang ngayon parang bago pa rin kng malalabhan.. at walang shrinkage sa foam at styro..

*** this helmet saved my father's life several times nung nalasing ang motor namin.. hehe! so i guess, i'l treasure this.. ne-repaint ko lang kasi dami na gasgas.. :p

Yung akin nanakaw sa megamall, bi nlade. At least may magnanakaw na naka zeus! astig.

bro, if that helmet had been with you for the past 10 years, and had been involved in accidents several times...there may be unseen damage on it's shell as well as the EPS liner...i suppose you'ld be better off with a new one....

manufacturers recommend that a helmet be replaced after 3-5 years of use, even though it might still look as good as new...

sir, checked it out.. the only damaged parts are the:

1.VISOR lens.. which has been removed including its mounting parts..
2.the FRONT and SIDES.. visible scrAtches but no cracks.. tested by percussion to rule out cracked or broken areas..
3.STRAP LOCK.. which has been replaced by a much bigger and better set..
4. LEATHER LINING.. minimal wear

the rest, in top condition pa naman.. pro thanks sir sa info at sa advise..
actually, matagal ko na rin akong gustong makabili ng bagong helmet but sad to say, yung mga quality helmets ay d maganda ang fit sa kin.. kng meron din namang kakasya pro sobrang mahal naman.. but soon, makakahanap rin ako given a good budget..
