Spanish company APC Systems have over the last few years been designing and testing a motorcycle helmet that incorporates an airbag.
The design involves an airbag located in the back of the helmet. In case of an accident, the airbag is released within 0.15 seconds to the rear, thereby protecting the motorcycle rider's neck and back from serious injuries
The airbag system is easily installed, and refilling the airbag is simple.
The airbag unit should go on sale shortly. No price is known as of yet.Mike Werner
