Advisable din shampoo...! aloy_g August 28th, 2007, 04:29 PM pwede rin shaving cream. Ichthus Janz August 28th, 2007, 05:23 PM Dont use toothpaste, most of them have abbrasive properties (to clean your teeth from plaque) that may cause minute scratches damaging your visor/faceshield. Try non-abbrasive cleaners that keeps water from beading on your faceshield. edfaith August 28th, 2007, 06:54 PM di naman na damage yung visor ha.... mas okay nga yung flow ng tubig pag umuulan. di ko naman sinabing pang linis mo araw araw eh. zerocool438 August 28th, 2007, 06:56 PM :o :o :o :o :o :o :o Ichthus Janz August 28th, 2007, 07:25 PM di naman na damage yung visor ha.... mas okay nga yung flow ng tubig pag umuulan. di ko naman sinabing pang linis mo araw araw eh. No offense meant man... have it your way if you want. Its just a friendly advise based on experience. You can try an expriment with transparent CD cases (the non-colored ones). Rub some white toothpaste on an area of the CD case then wash it off with water. You'll see that the area rubbed with toothpaste wont be as clear as the other parts. Chemist can attest to the abbrasive properties of the toothpaste. noypito August 29th, 2007, 12:55 PM try nyo Rain Away. nabibili sa mga ace hardware. wasted_23 August 29th, 2007, 01:00 PM EagleOne Plastic polish and Protectant. ganda din gamitin. brand0 August 29th, 2007, 01:01 PM et0 natutunan k0 sa shell, pag ala talaga choice, inabot ka ng ulan sa daan, stop at any gas station, alam ny0 yung pang wash ng windshield nila an my sabon? rub it on your visor per0 wag ny0 banlawan. then go off. you will notice na dudulas lang yun tubig ulan at malinaw pa rin yung visor nyo. :D hot ice August 29th, 2007, 03:45 PM try nyo Rain Away. nabibili sa mga ace hardware. Guys yung Rain-away magkano din yun? mga 140 pesos more or less ang Rain Away. Isang application lang lasts for a week. FreeToRoam September 3rd, 2007, 10:17 AM Toothpaste definitely contains abrasives. Check this out: Active Ingredients: Fluoride Antibacterial agents, most often Triclosan is used to control plaque Desensitizing agents Anti-tartar agents Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) Enzymes, to enhance the antibacterial properties of saliva Xylitol, a non-sugar sweetener, which reduces levels of cariogenic (decay causing) bacteria in the mouth and enhances remineralization (Natural toothpastes may contain a variety of ingredients - anything from oil of ginger to seaweed extract.) Inactive ingredients: Water Detergents, to make the toothpaste foam Binding agents Humectants to retain moisture Flavoring, sweetening, and coloring agents like peppermint, spearmint, cinnamon, wintergreen, and menthol Preservatives Abrasives for cleaning and polishing http://ask.yahoo.com/20000928.html Ichthus Janz September 3rd, 2007, 10:27 AM O ayan... posted na yung ingredients ng toothpaste, para mas malinaw. Thanks for supporting details Sir FreeToRoam. wasted_23 September 3rd, 2007, 11:05 AM ung EagleOne, nasa p190~200p+ ata. pagi September 3rd, 2007, 03:57 PM Correct me if I'm wrong but Rain Away is for glass and has abrasive chemicals. which is not good for visors for they are made of plastic. Just a friendly advise, its doesn't mean that there are no visible damage after you apply chemicals, there are no or will be damage. Some damages are so minute, it can't be seen by the naked eye. This is one of the reason why helmet manufacturers don't advise abrasive chemicals for cleaning and replacement of the helmet once it is dropped. Ichthus Janz September 3rd, 2007, 05:28 PM Hmmm... so Eagle One would be the best option? wasted_23 September 3rd, 2007, 05:56 PM Hmmm... so Eagle One would be the best option? try it bro. i use it for my helmet's visor and shell. pede din sa windshield ng skut ko. nagb-bead ang tubig then tulo pababa. ndi din kumakapit ang dumi. Ichthus Janz September 3rd, 2007, 06:32 PM try it bro. i use it for my helmet's visor and shell. pede din sa windshield ng skut ko. nagb-bead ang tubig then tulo pababa. ndi din kumakapit ang dumi. Hardliner September 5th, 2007, 02:15 PM yep alam ko din RAIN-AWAY is for glass and not for plastics or polycarbons. |
