Sabi po sa akin ni sir arwin ng action hobbies/motoworld meron din po Snell Approve ang Shark Helmet, type ko rin yan pag nagkaroon ako ng time check ko sa MOA Motoworld branch yung mga display nila baka sakali may mapili ako. Lufet kasi sa decals yung helmet ng Shark pero ngayon wait muna ako di ko pa alam kung anong balita na kay bayani sa ordinance nya sayang naman kung didikitan ko ng sticker yung shark helmet....

I have the KBC Airborne 1 & Airborne 2, likewise the Flare like Supermansters, and KBC's Modular Series helmets.

The Chrome Edition is not limited, it only identifies the particular year it was released since every year, their suppose to release a new model to supercede the previous one. Nevertheless, KBC's are still awesome helmets & VERY comfortable thats why I have a few of em. Next to my Icon Helmets, these brands are one of the best helmets ive owned.

Shark Brand is widely available here like in Motoworld & even in Caloocan. Best is to be one your toes in buying the brand coz there might be "fakes" out there. Not that im downplaying the brand, but ive learned that when theres a certain brand thats rampantly available & in demand, a 2nd class version of the brand might suddenly pop out.

Best is to study the accessory availability of the make. A few years back, I bought me an AGV Rossi helmet, & when i was scoping out for a Smoke lens for it...

1. Dealers heres were charging an arm & a leg for it... Over P3K.
2. And IF it was available was another issue.

I ended up finding it in the US & got it cheaper too. Bottomline, there wasnt any support for the product.

KBC has all the Optional Lens available for it, as well as replacement parts like Cheekpads & replacement vents... Tia.

BTW, if you wanna see in person KBC, Ill be happy to show em to you in person so you can see the quality of the brand.

i haven't tried a shark helmet yet...but my KBC VR2 Mirage (see my avatar) suites me just fine...as far fit & comfort is concerned...oh i almost forgot...this is one of the quietest helmet i've had...

I suggest you view the helmets in person & judge for yourself. Its also best that way you can come up with specific Q's about each helmets

oo nga po eh..kaso un lng po kaya budget..hehe parang rare pa din po kasi ung model na yan ng shark and kbc.. kahit isa po wla pa me nakikita sa daan na nka shark butterfly and kbc vr2 na kagaya ng sau.. lalo na dito sa batangas wla pa ko nakikita na kbc and shark karamihan shoei,arai..:D ung sa kbc VR2..ikaw lng po nkita ko na meron nyan tska ata c dave deleon( nkita ko sa inside racing)

tama nagkalat na sa pinas yang shark n kbc, may nagbebenta nga 6.8k lang, hanapin mo nlang, pabili ka ng joe rocket helmet @ $242.00, icon helmet nde rin ganun karami ang makakasalubong mo na may suot neto, nolan ganun din, ung mga new model ng arai n suomy, ang gaganda din.

back to topic, last feb2007 nde talaga ako makakuha ng troy corser replica na shark kaya i end up getting a kbc vr3 helmet, once i tried this helmet, sabi ko sa sarili ko, this will be my next weekend helmet, he he... sulit naman magaan n tahimik. never have the chance to fit in a shark helmet, ala kc mabili that time.

pero if i were you, dagdagan mo pa budget and get an arai or suomy helmet, at least worth 15k, iba talaga!!!

check mo nga pala ung manufacturing date ng helmet, baka last 2003 pa un kaya mura.

I have three KBC VR-2 Helmets. They are my favorite helmets because of the size of them: a bit smaller and lighter than the others.

I haven't tried Shark, but I hear good things about them.

I love both my KBC & ICON Helmets...

One, theyre not that readily available here. Even some of the KBC Models are not.

The KBC is lighter than even compared to the HJC or even my ICON. Designs are unique. The VR2 are top choice. If youre getting the KBC in the US. Get the Reaper or Airborne Series 1 & 2. I dont the like the Repsol Edition of the KBC, though limited edition, it would look somewhat odd to be wearing a Honda theme helmet & youre riding another make diba.

im using KBC VR2 assassin. upon closer inspection there are some imperfections in the paintjob.

being designed for the racetrack where you have to tuck under the windscreen in high speed, the helmet produces buffeting sounds around 100kph when you're in the normal riding posotion.it soon dissapears when you tuck your chin to your chest and scoot low close to the tank

Then, one time nun nililinisan ko yun clear visor ko nang maligam-gam na tubig w/ shampoo bigla nalang na tuklap ang film nang visor ko.
