kinopya nya lang ang design ng nitro sir wala website siguro yan dahil immitation lang lang at walang certification na napsa yan yung DOT sa likod nya eh hindi DOT approved ibig sabihin nun.HTH

bro,at first glance both the Carting & the Nitro will look identical...but then again, look at Carting helmet...you'll notice that the airvents are not the same...the shell of the carting helmet is a copy from the HJC CS12 helmet plus the additional copy of the Nitro's airvents...

but in fairness to the Carting helmet, it's comfortable to use...good enough for a "budget" helmet....

but if madadag-dagan mo na lang budget mo, get a branded one instead

Thank you ncsb, as for a branded helmet, meron na po ako -- AGV k-series and its really really good.

As for the carting, medyo nakakaenganyo kumuha for everyday use lang kasi quality looks satisfactory and its really cheap!!!

i did get me a carting helmet before, sold it to one of my friends who liked it...it's a good helmet for it's price...oh, and i forget to mention...available din ang replacement faceshield...

Have you heard of VCAN helmets, maganda din kasi e and cheaper pa by 300 petot than Carting. China din but whats nice is that its a rated helmet. DOT, ECE and snell approved.
Pucha, daming cheap helmets na magaganda na. Maganda din ang Index and Zeus pero super dami na mayroon dito. Mahirap, baka magkapalitan pa kami ng kagrupo pag nag ride.:O
Atleast ang VCAN medyo konti pa lang ang mayroon.

mga sir suggestion lang na try na nyo ang bell,sparco,agv,shouei or arai medyo mahal pero sigurong dot, snell certified sabi nga nila if you think ang worth ng ulo mo ay usd10 buy usd10 helmet better safe than sorry. wag mag padala sa itsura & proma ng helmet ingat & god bless

haven't seen a Vcan helmet yet...but if what you say about it is right, then you've got another option...

personally, i prefer Zeus over index...i've disected a Zeus 803,(helmet of our member who had an accident) cut it half, to reveal what's really inside it...it's got a dual EPS liner and thicker shell compared to other helmets belonging to it's price bracket...

I've got a Carting helmet, the Carbon 95-2 model, ito gamit for every day or City driving lang. Kaya ito kinuha ko is because maganda yung material nya, makapal ang paddings, Plastic at maganda rin ang finish nya. Kapatid ko at bayaw nya ganito na rin ang pinabili ko, kaysa sa mga initation na gawang SM (Sa Manggagaya) bumili ng tig 500 to 1000 lang.
Pag Joyride naman ang gamit ko is AGV na. Iba na kasi ang safe kaya mas maganda invest sa mas magandang helmet.

lightweight ang carting because the shell is made only of ABS plastic...same material used for making stock fairings...

sir sa raon napakadami at napakamura... parehas lang sila nung tinitinda sa mga shops sa caloocan at sa iba pa... at tsaka yung mga hemet dun napakamura lang, parehas siya nung tinitinda sa mga sa shops sa caloocan at iba pa... minsan bumili barkada ko dun ng helmet ang presyo sa kanya ay P1500 pero natawaran niya hanngang P800, oh diba napakamura.. pwede na yung carting for everyday use... basta magaling ka lang tumawad baka makuha mo pa ng mas mura... meron din akong nadinig sa mga barkada ko na mas mura daw sa pier, di ko lang alam kung san pier yun, makukuha mo pa daw ng mga P400 isang helmet sa kahit anong model at itsura... lahat daw ng kailangan mo sa sa Carting,GDR,JDS nandun na pati yung mga fake na index meron din...

Dito din sa riverbanks mall sa marikina, ang carting 800 ibibgay na nila. Tapos GDR 1K lang:banana:

Sa loob ng riverbanks mall dun sa area ng parang mga tiange. Kahilera ito ng chowking. You will not miss it, daming stall na may tinda ng helmet.

di ko alam kung anong street yun basta kung alam mo yung papuntang quiapo malapit na dun tanong ka na lang kung san papuntang raon.. pagdating mo dun sunod sunod na yung mga stalls dun...

I already have one, ganda rin naman. Magaan din, removeable ang liner. Good buy na rin for 800 pesos. But I will be using this for city driving lang. I think I will have to have another one for long drives.

Now I know why the carting edition is much cheaper. No offense but mas malambot ang plastic na ginamit for the carting. The interior lining is just as comfortable as the 411 though.
Preference ko lang talaga yung mas matigas ang outer shell. Mas may feeling ng security.

Sir try to look at Carting Carbon 95-02 model. Medyo makapal ang plastic nya.
Yung cheap models nya talagang manipis yung plastic. Gamit ko kasi yung Carbon model pang city driving, yung nga lang medyo mahal sa mall.

tama ka dyan sir.i used carting helmet right now.mganda nga ang porma pero mabigat.pero nasanay na rin ako.ang hirap nga hanapin ng clear visor nito kasi ung original na visor (tinted) gusto ko palitan.wala ako mahanap kung san-saan na ako nag hanap marikina,taytay at caloocan.ayun pala kasukat pala rin sya ng GDR helmet.parehong-pareho sila.as of now for order prin visor ko dito sa manggahan,pasig.sa shop ni lenin,(bikers alley).

no offense taken, ok naman ung carting comfy sya and sakto ang fit sa akin. yes ur right medyo manipis ang shell nya. Budget helmet kasi ito, pero good buy na rin sya.

I will be investing on a better helmet especially for long rides

Oo nga medyo hirap na makakita kapag hapon na dahil sa tinted na visor.
meron din kayang clear visor para sa helmet ko katulad sya ng 411 na model.

mga bro ako gamit ko lang 808 half face model ng carting.... mura lang sya 1500 pero dot na sya d sya katulad ng sa quiapo sticker lang ang nkalagay try nyo rin bumuli sa bikers choice sa caloocan tago ito may smoke, rainbow, clear leans sila 350 lang.... sa 5th ave yun ha...
