good day mga sirs,

any suggestions pa po. salamat....:)

Kahit commuting to the office lang compete gears ako: knee pro, helmet, jacket, gloves.

siguro knee pad, elbow pad, helmet, gloves and a simple protective jacket na would be alright na ano?

any advice and add ons pa po will be appreciated.

salamat

Same with Sir Ichthus Janz nasa bag muna ang corporate suite then sa office nalang magpapalit.

pang office ko nasa tank bag tapos i wear riding jacket and knee/sheen guards. palit nalang sa office. even during meetings with my clients, punta muna sa cr bihis and put my riding gear sa tank bag. yung helmet and tank bag lang makikita na bitbit ko.

i usually meet my clients sa the podium sa ortigas where i can park my bike sa basement tapos may clean restroom sila don where i can change into my formal clothes. sa makati naman meet-up place ko usually sa starbucks waltermart makati, may restroom sa may parking area yung nga lang cramp ang space.

You decide for yourself sa mga gastusin at daily needs mo.

'pag malapit lang, knee/elbow pads, helmet & gloves will do.

sa office ka na lang magbihis para fresh ang amoy ng mga damit mo. that's what i do.

sir... MESH Jacket will do... wala kang dapat ikahiya kung naka protective jacket ka. it's for your own safety. basta wag lang 1pc leather racing suit ang suot mo. kahit siguro ako mahihiya nun:D

hi,

answers to this question depends on how hardcore the person who is giving advice to bikes is, lalu na kapag squid headed.

ive been riding to work for 4 years now. and ive worn barong and long sleeves with tie, i dont mind.

pero the gear depends on the ride:
1. big bikes, i choose a mesh armored jacket, full face fliptop helmet, good gloves, backpak for laptops. to take advantage of speed on expressway
2. scooter (150cc), i choose halfface helmet, any jacket i could grab as long as its comfortable and dirt resistance, panyo para sa ilong, those 500 php gloves, shades, primarily because i want to enjoy riding and going to work at the same time. less distraction, more freedom, to it translates to a pleasant ride to work
3. ubone, bigbike sold, and i decided to settle for the raider150, primarily because i need the speed, flexibility, and at the same time save gas (vs bigbikes). 500php gloves, cl22 helmet fits well, i got those nylon mesh jacket (i got it for 2+k mcp), my 200 pesos dunlop rubber shoes, ubone bag to keep my kapote, bike cover, and shoes (sa parking na ko nagpapalit), shades

in all scenarios, i dont really wear knee and elbow pad, unless the jacket has some built in. the barong and longsleeve? here's the trick:
1. barong, i'm wearing it kase magugusot sa bag. so i ask my wife to fold yung ilalim nya outwards, enough para matakpan ng jacket kapag naka zip na.
2. the longslleves, i always use the 3/4 porma even if it has tie, para hindi madumihan yung dulo. of course the tie sa opis mo isuot
3. the slacks, it stays as is

in all my years of riding to work, i got 2 accidents, both happen in the rain, kaya nga im extra cautious kapag umuulan. i also get good tires like dunlop/michelin para hindi masyado madulas

always remember it's freedom that we seek when we ride, included with this frredom, i just want to walk right out to parking lot then drive, if you include the knee/elbow pads, aabutin ka ng 10-15mins para lang mag change constume sa parking area. with the basic attire on, all left for me is to remove the helmet leave it in my bike, derecho walkaton na ko sa opis naka suot pa yung jacket, the gloves stay in my ubone bag, then covered by bike cover (i got from 88pesos)
