Mga Bro, I bought an Index 911 helmet last two weeks ago sa Chris T Sports sa megamall...I choose the large size na fit naman sa size nang head ko...without knowing pagdating ko sa bahay, syempre excited, sinukat ko ulit-ok naman..pero nung basahin ko yung manual nakita ko dun na dapat sukatin mo muna yung head size mo in centimeter. Sinunod ko yung instruction on how to do the measuring. Then I found out na yung headsize ko pala is nagpo-fall sa medium size which is 57cm. Ngayon yung Large size is 59 to 60cm. Ok lang ba na hindi ko na papalitan yung helmet ko though fit naman sya nga lang kung talagang sasadyain medyo nagalaw sya nang kaunti sa head ko
O okey lang yun kahit di ko na papalitan. Anyway nakausap ko na naman through phone yung Chris sports kung pwedeng papalitan which they said ok lang nga lang as of now wala raw silang medium size. Help naman po kung ano mai-a-advised nyo sa akin.:o Salamat...

Snug fit talaga dapat. Pero kung di naman maluwag na maluwag at comportable ka naman ay pwede na din yan. Baka naman kasi sobrang sikip naman sayo ng medium.

Try also using a Balaclava.

Minsan I use 2 sizes kahit alam ko na dapat L ako. Minsan kasi parang sa salamin e ang laki ng Large kesa sa Medium for my built. Minsan din na sa construction lang talaga ng shell at ng pad kaya lumalaki ang helmet sa salamin.

The important thing is dapat walang alog ang helmet at protected pati ang chin mo if you are going to use a full faced. And we highly recommend using one.

ok lang yan sir as long as safe ka mag ride and always strap the helmet.ok lang po yan kasi ako fall under small pero medium kinuha ko kasi dun ako kumportable pero pag shanake ko ung helmet ko di naman kumakalas...

helmet sizes may differ slightly from one manufacturer to another...yet sometimes, even helmets produced by the same manufacturer may differ from one model to another...

i would suggest you try the medium first for you to compare the two sizes...if the medium is to tight, and you feel that there are pressure points go for the the large size and wear a balaclava, otherwise go for the medium.

ang advise lang na nababasa ko when it comes to helmet (if fit sya sa iyo), dapat pag lumingon ka either left or right, dapat sasama yun helmet sa galaw ng ulo mo, kung hinde YARI ka.. :s

Mga Bro, Thanks sa mga adviced ninyo. Actually I finally made my self to decide to go for the large size one. I condsider all the toughts you had given me and upon final judgement eh sa large size nga 'ko nag-fall dahil dito ako comportable and yet yung uga na kapag lumingon left and right eh hindi naman sya naiiwan..

bro alalahanin mo luluwag pa iyan kaya dapat talaga sakto siya sa iyo... and always strap your helmet in case di mo na palitan added support ito para di makalas....

as long as the helmet fits comfortably yet snuggly, ok lang. thing is, i agree with artbike. helmet pads will wear out in time (not the helmet itself :D ). so, when this comes, talagang luluwag na ang fit. but usually naman, good quality helmets survive long enough...
