With recent developments, it seems apparent that the local governing bodies do descriminate against motorcycle riders.

Here's a question.

Would you accept a completely non discriminatory stance on motorcycle use, one that is a completely at parallel to the rules that govern cars?

Here's what you it would entail.

Motorcycles are no longer exempt from coding schemes.
Motorcycles are no longer allowed to cut through traffic via lane sharing.

You would still have to abide by the safety standards, car users have to wear seatbelts while riders would have to use helmets.

you create laws and regulations because there are good reasons to do so.

1. the coding scheme was implemented to lessen traffic congestions on major thoroughfares. --motorcycles do not pose much problem to traffic that is why it is exempted.

2. lane splitting is outlawed in some countries but some countries permit lane splitting only if traffic is at stand still or at slow paced. --definitely i am against lane splitting at speeds higher than 30kph.

3. definitely you have to wear helmets even for a short ride, since most motorcycle accidents happen only a few meters away from your base or home and/or at slow speeds.
