Gud day fellow MCP forumers, just asking where to find somebody who fixes helmets. I have three original second hand Shoei and Arai helmets sent to me by my Bro working in Japan. The problem is, it doesn't have straps and plastic lenses. Your info will be highly appreciated. Tanx in advance.

helmets are disposable. they are not meant to be repaired. as for the lenses, i think you can buy replacement lenses for it.

I know what you mean Bro, but the casing is still hard and sturdy and in good condition, same as the foams and upholstery inside. The only thing missing is the straps and no lenses. Sayang naman kasi kung ididispose ko. Meron pa kasing nakaindicate na my Kevlar composition. Baka meron kasing may kilalang gumagawa ng helmets locally, papakabitan ko lang ulit ng straps and lenses. But anyways, Tanx

yung sa straps bro, try mo dalhin sa gumagawa ng bags, baka they can make a strap for you. yung lenses madami jan, dali lang naman palitan yan.

just wondering why these helmets dont have they're strap and faceshields anymore...

but if they really are in still in good condition, getting the straps replaced will be a lesser problem...getting the faceshields will be more difficult...if not expensive.....the price of getting one Shoei faceshield and one Arai faceshield could buy you a brand new HJC helmet....

Bro... better to confirm din where ur helmets came from to assure na d helmet was not from crush...kc helmets are designed only to one impact. so in the next impact d na sure yun kng ma-save pa ung user...

exactly. you can't remove helmet straps easily. helmets also have a so-called life span and expiration even without a single scratch from crash. because most lid shells are made of polycarbonate material which reacts to heat and UV rays when used, they tend to depreciate after years of use.

but to answer thread question, mr. quickies can do it. you can also try smaller tailoring shops. they can provide you custom straps. the trick is finding a fit locking component for the strap mounting button.

lens, btw, can be ordered from the dealers.

Yeah Bro, I thought so too. If that would be the case, then I might just settle for an HJC or ZEUS. Tanx again
