The article is right about the helmets, some helmets are made for narrow heads, and others are for rounder shapes, don’t worry about how expensive (or affordable) the helmet is and be more concerned that its SNELL (http://www.smf.org/standards/2005/sak2005/sa_k2005_final.html) approved.

1 piece leathers are the way to go but make sure the stitching & leather is strong, also leathers should fit snug, you don’t want the armor shifting when you’re sliding across the concrete!

If you can get a hold of gloves that has the pinky and the finger next to it stitched together, GET IT! Those are the 2 most common fingers to break in an accident but when they’re stitched together they re-enforce and prevent a break

I agree with the Sidi boots 110%

I’m not so sure about the dog tags thing, I don’t like having anything around my neck that can cause a bad choke and is hard to rip off.

thanks sir... hehehe ano ba yun dogtag, baka yun pa ang makaaksidente sa rider eh...
katakot yung xray puro turnilyo ang nilagay sa loob, sakit nun...

Before you spend money on a bike, get yourself some high-quality protective gear. Never scrimp on protective wear and as a general rule before you buy an item think about whether or not it would protect you in a bad accident.
dapat lahat alam na to eh...
