Wing 1

Just thought of writing about it...sort of a journal. Peace!
Last weekend, I decided to go home to QC, Katipunan and pay a visit to my buddies back in high school. How I wish i could have brought my bike. Unfortunately, my parents didn't like the idea of me riding on my cub inside the SLEX so I was forced to commue. I wish they(my parents) knew how SAFE and LEGAL it really is.
I decided to go to Shangrila first. Nakakatamad mag commute kaya nag taxi nalang ako. "Boss, sa Shang ri la. " Okay so I went hopped in feeling excited to see my buddies once again. Upon reaching Ortigas just after whit plains, traffic slowed down..gitgitan na (ohh manila driving). To my right was a Toyota Corolla, to the left was a delivery truck, and in front was a sport bike. It looked like an old 400cc 90s model, but I wasn't able to figure out the make or model. To my surprise, the cab driver kept on blasting his horn.
Cabbie: " Tsk! T@ngin@ng motor nakaharang pa!"
Wing 1: "Eh bakit po? traffic eh kaya ipit naman tayo lahat."
Cabbie: "Kaliit liit niyan, ayaw tumabi!"
Cabbie: (silent)
Then this cab driver kept on tailgating the bike...tutok talaga.
Wing 1: "Bossing, masyado kayong nakatutok. Delikado yan."
Cabbie: "Tsk!" (continues to tailgate)
Wing 1: "Pagka pumreno yung motor, tatamaan niyo yan"
As the traffic moved on again, this cab driver swerves, overtakes the bike and cuts off the bike's pathway. The rider wasn't able to do anything except sound his horn.
Wing 1: "Boss, bakit mo ginawa yun. maayos naman yung pagmamaneho ng naka motor ah?"
Cabbie: <staring to get annoyed> "Eh ano ba? MOTOR LANG YAN. Ano ngayon?
Cabbie: <Looks at me with a frown> Bakit ba?
Cabbie: <Really annoyed now> "Grumble...mumble...."
The both of us stayed silent for the rest of the trip. I reached my destination safely. Got to see my buddies again...had a good weekend.
I still don't get it. Why are some cagers annoyed when a bike or scoot is in front of them. A Bike's braking power and acceleration are much better than of a cage's. I somehow feel I wasn't able to say enough to that cab driver...at least the rider wasn't hurt. Bastos talaga yung cabbie na yun.
 :g :i
Peace!
Ride safe:)
