Any owners of Jianshe Legacy 100, please i need ur comments.
I own a Legacy 100 for almost 3 years na. I had been very careful about this chinamade motorcycle when it comes to maintenance.
but, to my dismay... i have encountered a lot of trouble!!!!
first trouble... my cdi was busted.. had it replaced.
2nd trouble... my starting coil got busted... had it replaced, when it was checked, my goodness... the compartment was full of rainwater!!!! kinakalawang!!!! grabe!!!
3rd trouble... ignition switch got grounded!!!!
4th trouble... battery voltage regulator was busted!!!! ang nakakadismaya, walang replacement part d2 sa dumaguete...
5th trouble.... i finally had it overhauled and when i saw the parts inside... full of corrosions and rusts.... the fact that i had my periodic oil change mandatory every 1,000 kms.
now, i'm so disappointed... because of no replacement of the voltage regulator, the electrical gadgets wont work which compromised the safety features of the motorcycle... anyone out there in manila who knows where to buy this voltage regulator?
my legacy is still in the mechanic's shop. the electrician now suggested to me that we dispense with the regulator and have the electricity be directed to the battery instead... will this be a sound suggestion which i can say "yes" to the electrician?
thanks for your replies.
