bro, better look for a good mechanic who really knows ur bike....hindi naman sa sinisiraan ko ang EMCOR...but one of our members had his Z2 bike tuned up by them...after a couple of days nabalian ng push rod...pagdala sa Emcor, they turned over the bike to the Motorstar Service Center. nasobrahan daw higpit kaya nabali...good thing the bike is new and still under warranty...so repairs were done with no extra cost....pero yung hassle and abala di mababayaran....

jagger, ana pud ingon sa ako sa mga taga emcor. i think dili sila ana ka maayo nga mechanics when it comes to our mcs. murag wala pud koy nakita nga expert mechanic for raider 150 sa cdo.

try daw si dudz of motorstar service center in lapasan. i heard from my clubmates that he was formerly connected with emcor and master daw sa raider. he was offered a much higher rate by motorstar mao nga nibalhin.

i believe you, bro... i've noticed most of the bike clubs here are in it for the gimik, laag, inom, tapok-tapok ug illegal street race. i spearheaded the federation to make something productive out of the clubs like community relations/extension projects, charity projects, peace promotions, benefit rides & tours, socio-civic functions... but i guess we're not just ready yet. i've headed a few official/legal races & activities before and i thought those would mark the start towards some better projects but the federation didn't grow as i wanted.... i'm slowly slipping off from it kase i feel na wala ring papupuntahan kapag walang dedication ang mga members...

i have a great group, though. 'di naman kami 'club' pero we get along fine... trip nila ngayon kase trailride.

i love riding out on weekend/holiday trips! gawa tayo grupo? yung pang 'wild hogs'!

bor naej.... actually, i am the concurrent president of ORO FORCE (Cag. de Oro Federation of Recreational/Racing Clubs & Enthusiasts). the Federation is composed of 7 club members all from CDO (M2R, HotBikes, RAD Bikes, Outkast, U-Box, TwinValve/Full Speed & Full Throttle. but it seems that the Federation isn't that vital for the clubs here. murag dili pa ready ang mga clubs dinhi for a more matured level of organization. it's not easy to get their dedication. i don't know.. mingaw man karon...

if i could give it a shot, i really wanted to push through with this idea of putting a certain bike club to a higher pedestal. dili lang basta nga grupo-grupo ra or lumba-lumba or tapok-tapok :)

yeah... i've had my shares of proof & observations for that. seems that many are really not yet ready to take a step further from the usual club scene. but be that as it may, syempre, ang ride-out, laag and tapok-tapok are pretty much just as important ingredients to a club's sustainance. kasali naman talaga ang mga curriculars na ganito. ang sa akin lang, wag naman puro ganito na lang rin... a club has to pro-actively participate din syempre on some community, socio and civic projects.

chard... probably it's a good start to form our groupie muna without formal objectives. just some few restrictions to follow lang. i kinda thot that having a group without objective/s will somehow depressurize the members from getting things done according to the club's rules. mas maganda yata yung we start off to build rapport and chemistry lang muna while doing ride-outs and some fun stuff together. eventually, kapag maganda na ang bonding, we can introduce new facets of undertaking. and one good endeavor is co-participating with the Green Mindanao.

actually dirtbag, that's precisely the scenario. clubs with mediocre members most likely fizzle out in time especially when their individual expectations are not met. that's the reason why most clubs with good objectives doesn't last long because the club objectives are most often subdued by individual attitudes which are contagious among members. this makes the members slip off.

we wanted something like a groupie muna. no objectives but with some restrictions. like i said, this will depressurize the "members" from being conscious with objectives. restrictions will serve as functional guidelines. no more, no less.

i really don't know... clubs are actually there because, yes, it's the "in thing". and personally, i do not wan't it that way. let's make something that will mature in time...

let's get this done before summer ends. in SM alone, i have about a dozen interested individuals. dili ni mga badlongon. dili man pud nako close tanan but am sure these low-profile boys aren't the usual badlongons :) there are 2 from cinema department, about 3-4 from Yellow Cab, including the store manager. about 3-4 din from eng'g dept including our resident eng'r. some others are from our general services agency.

wala tay officers sa group. tanan ta ka-level, walay taas, walay ubos. if naa man gud officers, usually ang burden naa ra sa president tanan. if walay officers, kita tanan maningkamot para makuha unsa atong tumong. kani nga group, dili padaghanay ug myembro. bisan gamay lang ta basta committed kitang tanan, AYOS na na!
