Motorist robs man who
fell off bike in Makati

AFTER messenger Ronnie Pabona met an accident while on board his motorcycle on Saturday afternoon in Makati, he had more bad luck. An unidentified man alighted from his blue car at the scene of the accident.

But instead of helping the injured Pabona, the man took 15 foreign magazines the victim was supposed to deliver, and sped off in his car.


Pabona, of Barangay San Antonio in Makati, was negotiating Buendia Avenue when he lost his balance and fell off his Kawasaki motorcycle in front of Zuellig Building at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Barely able to stand because of a knee injury, the messenger was relieved when a man stopped his car (PKU-738) and walked up to him. But the man picked up the scattered magazines and left, Pabona told police.

Maybe one of the magazines is the latest issue ng FHM :D

Mission X made had an episode on this. They say that this is an M.O. They keep track of a messengers route then intentionally try to get them to fall from their bikes. In M-X's episode they say that the suspect would put something on the road that would make the rider fall (tree branch, slabs of concrete, etc.)

Muntik na yun plate number ng car ko ha, PKU-738, ang car ko naman PKP-738, pero di ako yun suspect dun ha. Though avid reader ako ng FHM.:D

seriously though, somebody should inform the poor messengers about this MO stuff. kawawa naman sila. naaksidente na nga, nanakawan mo pa! definitely yung nakuha sa kanila sigurado kukunin sa sweldo nila. tsk!
