We all know we need to replace our helmets once it has undergone a crash.

Paano po dun sa ibang gears natin (i.e., knee protectors, elbow pads, spine guards, etc.)? Do we replace them agad after a crash?

Or we also know that helmets have expiration dates (like around 5 years ata) so we need to replace them after such time even without a crash experience. Ganun din po ba sa ibang gears natin?

IMHO Kapag nag-umpisa na pong rumupok yung hard plastic medyo maluwag na yung straps at madali ng mawala sa tamang posisyon.

I'd say na as long as every part of the safety gear is still in tip-top shape and still serves its purpose, pwede pa din natin gamitin. But for helmets, pag nakatikim na ng crash and nabasag/cracked na dapat lang na palitan na yan coz di na safe
