Sorry, let me rephrase that. I mean, does it conform to certain helmet standards? Thanks po.

sir m2r helmets meets or exceeds DOT standards. they are also snell certified helms... safe po sya sir kung sa safe... pero syampre depende pa din sa impact on how you will categorize it... di din po biro ang pricess ng m2r helms... parang hjc din but some are almost as expensive as that of a shoei and nolan helms... hth...:)

Thanks for the info bro. I'm actually choosing between Zeus 2000A/ 2100 and M2R Modular right now so inputs would be highly appreciated. I also have an old model Shoei but it's too darn heavy, masakit sa leeg maski short distance ride lang. Thanks again bro, peace!

sir, modular helmets does not conform to snell foundations' category because they are still trying to figure out in which category they have to test the helmet, whether in full face category or 3/4 helmet category.

clarification:
hindi po delikado gumamit ng helmet. kahit anong helmet pa yan, for as long as di ka maaksidente.

afaik, m2r or as it stands for "made 2 race" are dot/snell certified. available ata sya sa full throttle.

and afaik, its almost priced like the HJC's more expensive than the Zeus.

I've already clarified my statement. My point was, if the said helmet brand conform to safety standards (DOT/ Snell), pakibasa kasi mabuti. Sad fact is, a lot of riders use just about any helmet just for the sake of wearing it or para iwas huli sa law enforcers. Why not wear a bicycle helmet or a construction hard-hat instead when you ride a motorcycle? Helmet din yun di ba? I'd still go for "safe" helmets, meaning safe for motorcycle riding. Thanks for the inputs anyway. Peace!
