Ichthus Janz January 26th, 2007, 07:42 AM I cant really remember but according to a high profile motorcycle magazine, HJC's AC 12 was found to be the best helmet that offers maximum proctection and impact absorbtion for your head. Result were based on ECE, DOT, Snell, and testing by other independent labs.
Congrats on such a fine helmet sir Payton. That's called using your head when buying safety gears.

hmmm, mukhang its HJC AC12 against bmw carbon fibre. gawan ko kaya ng side to side comparison sa excel. for starter, there is a 69719.3 pesos difference and bmw claims to be the lightest then HJC is highlighted in a motor magazine as the best helmet. meron pa kayang ibang tatapat dito?
Ichthus Janz January 26th, 2007, 10:15 AM sir, ano po yna Z1R, any additional info, url, etc on this?

pepe1275 January 28th, 2007, 01:42 AM sir ot lang po. i'm planning to buy a new helmet, which do you peeps would prefer hjc ac12 or icon mainframe? inputs please for those who have used icon helmets...
Ducman January 28th, 2007, 02:11 AM sir ot lang po. i'm planning to buy a new helmet, which do you peeps would prefer hjc ac12 or icon mainframe? inputs please for those who have used icon helmets...
I don't own both helmets but a few of my buddies do. I would suggest getting the HJC over the Icon reason being is the Icon is way heavier and louder at higher speeds, so I was told.
If it fits your budget, I would recommend an Arai rx7 or Suomy Extreme.

Between the two, go for hjc ac12.
pepe1275 January 28th, 2007, 09:10 AM thanks sir ducman, act 2000. i'll go with the hjc ac12 then. arai is way too expensive for me and i was already leaning toward the hjc coz of the quality and its cheap price. i have an hjc cl sp and an a shoei rf 1000 and i compared the two hjc even have a better interior pads but then shoei is quieter, smaller and lighter compared to the hjc of the same size. thanks again.
