Kinda like Vanson or Kushiitani w/ their custom leather option? What prices are we talking about? Quallity? Think about all the gears you buy from the shop i.e. Dainese, Alpinestars, Kushi, etc.... Most if not all are made in Asia. So what quality wise? Craftsmanship will be the same, but be picky about the leather quality, thread used, double or triple stitching and double panelling on impact areas and sizes of panels used = the larger the panels the less stitching = stronger. Also avoid stitchings on impact areas.. Hmmm... you just gave me an idea to have one custom made when I get there... Cheers matey! Isipin mo yung kasabihang, ' Ang kapal mo! Balat kalabaw ka!' Ngayon... Medyo mahal dito locally, kaya I was wodering kung mas mura doon sa atin. Then I thought... well how about FULL custom-FIT leathers?? I was gonna get a used set of Dainese, but the fit would not be guaranteed. Has anyone actually have theirs custom made there? Because actually, my Teknic "Lightning" suite says "Made in the Philippines" inside... it put a smile to my face. :) Nice suite, made in my MY country of origin. :D Richie January 12th, 2004, 01:35 AM PM Jake, he might be able to hook you up. But I don't think they do custom jobs. High Side January 12th, 2004, 12:51 PM Custom leathers are rumored to cost @$3000. That's  ... really??????????? RiderDriver January 13th, 2004, 02:04 AM Relax guys, A "single" color custom leathers is only 1200-1500. Talked to one of the vendors in the bike show, then it gets more expensive when you have multiple colors. Definition of "single color" not necessarily one color but the design of the leather patch made of 1 piece. So you can have multiple colors yet considers single as long as the leather pieces are single cuts that's easy to sew together. Do I make sense? I really wanted to get the top of the line Teknics from Jake, ala Robert's or the RC51 color scheme but I just could not tell when I'll be able to come home. Too late now, I have my set, Joe Rocket. botchix January 13th, 2004, 02:19 AM Originally posted by Rick T Reloaded $3K will get you a race bike... Yaikkkkkkkks! Hmmmmm.... I could have one made here for a third of that from Crowtreeleathers, and still have enough to go to pinas, US and tour Europe!!:D Wait wait wait!!!! I still have to work.... If only.... Here is one made by Kushiitani for ducati. Rick T Reloaded January 14th, 2004, 11:35 PM Originally posted by High Side I wanted to get one but way out of my budget.
