Just wondering if any of you guys experience this: when running at high speeds, pumapakat yung buong harap ng helmet sa mukha ko, snug fit naman sya, pero pakiramdam ko, masyadong maliit yung clearance ng helmet at mukha (sa 508w lang naman) parang ang pakiramdam ko pag nag crash, hindi protektako

i guess, maluwang sya.. try nyo mag-suot ng balaclava

yan ang common comment sa Zeus 508w......masyadong malapit yun face mask, lens & chin.......minsan nga nakakailang i-lock yung face mask pag dito-dito lang kasi parang ang sikip nga sa harap unlike sa HJC & other helmets na with adequate clearance sa mukha.:)

yun nga sir, nakakatakot minsan, pero sa mga feedback ng mga nakapag crash test, ok naman, ska kung d ok, d naman na sila makakapag feedback diba? psychological lang siguro, parang nag ti-trigger ng claustrophobia ung kakulangan ng space sa loob ng helmet

I'm using the same helmet... ok naman. I guess you just have to choose the right size for you. :)

yung size ko kasi snug fit, talagang may konting pressure sa ulo, baka kaya napipiga lang yung taba ko sa pisngi kaya lumalabas sa harap...imaginin nyo nalang....parang si flounder sa little mermaid hehe...kaya sumisikip sa visor at face mask.

bro...try ka rin ng ibang brand or model....size is just one of the things we should consider when buying a helmet...another factor would be the shape of your head....

Sir try mo sa Action Hobbie, nabili ko ang 508 ko sale price P2,800 hndi ko lang alam kung bumalik na sila sa original price. Ang difference ng 508 at 508w ay print. plain colors kasi ang 508 ang 508w ay may design.. Sukat mo ng maigi dapat snug fit sau madami din choises ng zeus helmets dun. Look for sir Arwin or kahit sino staff dun mababait lahat sila :D

Guys question, ung 508W ba eh ung modular na helm? just got mine yesterday, so far okay naman sya, siguro dahil masyado lang malaki yun dati kong helmet, pero parang malapit nga ung lens sa mukha ko compared dun sa index ko. but since this is my first modular helm, couldn't really tell if its normal or not. the lens are great, napakaclear altho hirap sa gabi kase parang nakakasilaw un ilaw ng sasakyan, parang glare.. dunno whats it called.. hehe

meron din akong kast, roomy sya kahit snug fit, sa 508 lang talga ako naiilang.

mga sir bklt kya ung bago lo biling helmet parang ang bilis lumuwag ung tornillo dito sa mag right side kaya tuloy nahullog ung turnilyo nya, dahil ba sa pag close open ko, ZEUS din po 508w

Bro, suggest ko lang sa mga bumibili ng helmet, pag nag susukat po kayo, try to get a good fit (wag masyado maluwag) and also take into consideration yung shape ng ulo nyo. Meron mga helmet brands na fitted para sa mga rounded at pahaba na ulo so try to get the brand that best fits you para comfortable. Also remember na yung foam eh umiimpis sa katagalan so luluwag pa helmet nyo. Adjust the chin straps properly para snug sa ulo yung helmet at hindi matanggal in the event of a crash.

Ang comment ko lang po sa Zeus na 508w eh madali kalawangin yung buckle ng chin straps...

O nga madaling kalawangin, 4 months ko nang gamit, once a week ang nasusuot kalawang na agad yung metal parts ng strap including the lock.

Isa rin point to consider yung malapit sa chin area, di rin ako babalu.

Do you guys also experience fogging lenses? Tipong malamig ang outside temperature, pag hinga nyo nagkaka-fog kahit fully open yung chin vent. Isa kasi sa napansin ko walang breath guard available and chin curtain.

Na experience ko din yan sir pag nka hinto, pero pag umandar naman hndi nman. Siguro suggest ko lang eh i-open nalang ng unti ung visor para maka labas yung hot air na exhale natin. Kasi normal naman ata na mag fog ang lens especially malamig ang temp at sabayan ng hinga, kahit naman sa cage ganun din db, pag umuulan at hndi naka on ang aircon mo mag moist ang windshield mo.:)

OT: Mga sir bakit kaya hndi natin i-try ang toothpaste?? kasi before and after ko mag dive (scuba) i use toothpaste on my mask para hndi mag fog or mag moist ganun din pag itatago ko na yung mask ko. I just make sure na well rinsed bago ko gamitin, effective naman po. Suggestion lang po

I think main difference between 508 and 508W is improved ventilation in the latest 508W model.

My old HJC had great protection, with better quality build, but felt heavy and bulky compared to my 508W.
Also, cheek pads where very tight on the HJC. Ok for racing, but uncomfortable for everyday use.
Large size 508W gives me enough protection for daily riding, and fits me just right.
With any helmet, try it in the shop, and leave it on for at least 5-10 mins to get a good feel for the right fit. I wore my Zeus in the shop for a good 15 mins before deciding on the right model and size.

Kakabili ko pa lang ng Zeus 508w. Same ako ng experience sa inyong lahat. Pero sabi naman sakin, luluwag din daw yun foam sa loob ng helmet kaya no need yet to worry.

Magandang -resolve natin dito eh yung fog sa visor. Hassle yun, mapapasama tayo dahil dun.

para dun sa mga naka-experience na lumuluwag ang turnilyo ng faceshield...i suggest you put nail polish on the thread ng screws....pag natuyo kapit ang turnilyo sa nut sa ilalim...no problem din if you need to remove it later. konti extra effort lang....mas mabuti na yan kaysa sa daan malaglag...

3,500 for solid color? I got mine, 508w from motoworld last December for 4,500 pesos.

I have the same problem with the face shield fogging up. I just open it slightly. Also did some research and found out even americans have the same problems. Though they still recommend this helmet for everyday use.

Tama lang po yung price. Sakin kasi P3,5k sya. Pero binigyan ng discount kaya naging P3,2k or P3,3k na lang.

Pero yung tungkol sa performance, parang half face lang sya na nilagyan ng takip kaya naging fullface. Parang nanghihinayang ako. Para tuloy gusto kong bumili ng fullface talaga. Sa palagay nyo, totoo ba 'to or imagination ko lang to???

another thing that the 508 & 508W lack (same as most modular helmets out in the market)...are EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) of styrofoam in the chin bar which is available in most branded full-faced helmet. you've probably noticed that the EPS only covers the head. the jawline area are covered only by the inner Foam liner.

sir pareho naman safe yun, as long as you wear it properly. gets mo b sir hindi yung nasa siko lang :C .. well depende na lang sayo kung ano type ng helmet ang gagamitin mo, its your choice :) baste make sure na fit sayo ang helmet bago mo i purchase..

Napansin ko lang, after wearing the 508W for 5 months, lumuwag na yung inner liner nya. XL yung size binili ko snug fit before. Ngayon medyo loose fit na on all sides. :?
